SE Palmeiras's Nilson Dracena played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Cornelio Olayo in the 18th minute of play. Nilson Dracena made an important save on a dangerous shot by Aloísio Lendaa in the 20th minute. Nilson Dracena showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Aloísio Lendaa, who was totally free with the ball in the 23rd minute. After 51 minutes of play, Baxters Boys's John Guidetti made it 3-0 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Nilson Dracena was left in no man's land by his defense there! Nilson Dracena made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Cornelio Olayo in the 54th minute of play. 56 minutes into the match, SE Palmeiras's goal looked a bit too open when Aloísio Lendaa came free, but Nilson Dracena reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Aloísio Lendaa in the 56th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Nilson Dracena saved SE Palmeiras from getting behind. 61 minutes into the match, SE Palmeiras's goal looked a bit too open when Aloísio Lendaa came free, but Nilson Dracena reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Nilson Dracena showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Staffan Åman in the 68th minute of the match. Nilson Dracena made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Cornelio Olayo in the 71st minute of play. In the 73rd minute, Ennio Piccioli left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Baxters Boys fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 5-0. Baxters Boys made a substitution. Uzay Gencalp replaced Aloísio Lendaa. Frank Novella received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 83rd minute. Nilson Dracena tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. In the 85th match minute, SE Palmeiras was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by João Vítor de Almeida to maneuver through the defense. In the 86th minute of the match Johan Bäckman shot from a long distance. The ball could have gone into the goal to the right of the goalkeeper, but Nilson Dracena showed his good shape when he easily got hold of the ball. After some careless play in the SE Palmeiras defense, Uzay Gencalp kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Nilson Dracena. The SE Palmeiras fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Nilson Dracena should have stopped the shot.
