But to his dismay, Fatih Özbay quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 0-5. 蚂蚁在路上's attentive 赵烽亦 managed to snatch the ball when Teofil Chmielecki made a throw-in in the 43rd minute of the game. If Fatih Özbay had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 44th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. Olaf Pietras made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Fatih Özbay in the 44th minute of play. 47 minutes into the game, 蚂蚁在路上's Fatih Özbay nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Olaf Pietras made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 0-6. After the first half 蚂蚁在路上 were leading 0-6. They had played with great self confidence throughout the first half and fully deserved their lead.

Fatih Özbay received a nice pass, split the defenders, and ran untouched towards the goal. Olaf Pietras came out and tried to block the shot, but Fatih Özbay slotted it home off the left post making it 0-7 in the 53rd minute. Alonso Suloaga showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Abdi Saygın Ergener in the 63rd minute of the match. 赵烽亦 might have been able to make a better finish in the 64th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Olaf Pietras. FC Zarzyk's Olaf Pietras proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 78th minute of the match, managed to save FC Zarzyk from getting a goal against them. In the 79th minute Abdi Saygın Ergener shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Alonso Suloaga saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. An unexpectedly hard shot by 倪振杰 in the 81st minute of play forced FC Zarzyk's goalkeeper Olaf Pietras to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. The 蚂蚁在路上 supporters could be heard counting down the last seconds of the match. They errupted in celebration when the whistle blew, knowing 蚂蚁在路上 would go home with victory in their luggage after a match that easily could have ended differently.
