After a rather tough play, The Skates's Ragnar Biörling got a free kick in the 13th minute. Catugi FC's Walmir Pombal got a good chance for a goal in the 17th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Jens-Ola Lund showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Fabiano Maranhense, who was totally free with the ball in the 20th minute. 24 minutes into the match, The Skates's goal looked a bit too open when Walmir Pombal came free, but Jens-Ola Lund reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Edgar Degas hit a great freekick 25 minutes into the match. Ragnar Biörlings short, quick shot in the 28thth minute got Reko Nybacka to make great effort and bar the ball away from getting in.
