René Stam was out of position in the 38 minute of play, and Aage Hill capitalized on the mistake with a soft shot into the goal. Aage Hill really showed his touch with that goal: 4-1. Monte Hermoso Beach's Hector Montrel was substituted for Aage Hill. In the 44th minute of the match, Hector Montrel tried to roll the ball into the goal by the right post, but René Stam saw his intentions and got control of the ball before it passed the line. After 45 minutes Las Palmas's defender was forced to head the ball over the line for a corner. It was Séamus Babasidis who took care of the corner kick. The away team players looked dejected as the walked off the pitch at half time. They had fought hard, but were still losing 4-1.

René Stam took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Hector Montrel, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. 57 minutes into the match, Hector Montrel notched a goal, 5-1, to the right of Las Palmas's René Stam. Las Palmas's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 6-1. An unexpectedly hard shot by 秦西星 in the 75th minute of play forced Monte Hermoso Beach's goalkeeper Zachariasz Chmielecki to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Zachariasz Chmielecki made a fantastic save in the 76th minute, when Cayetano Esdras sent off a good shot on target. Thanks to some nice moves Victoriano Honrio could shoot a difficult shot in the 88th minute, which Zachariasz Chmielecki however easily saved by the left post. In the 90th minute 秦西星 shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Zachariasz Chmielecki saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. After some careless play in the Monte Hermoso Beach defense, Peker Kazak kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Zachariasz Chmielecki. The Monte Hermoso Beach fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Zachariasz Chmielecki should have stopped the shot. René Stam showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Hector Montrel, who was totally free with the ball in the 95th minute.
