In the 8th minute of the match Côme Durieu sent off a long shot with destination to the right of the goalkeeper, but Iker Casillas skillfully saved the ball. After some fancy dribbling in the 12th minute, Henri Quesada managed to get in a good position for a shot. Saint Côme de Fresné's supporters rose to their feet, but Henri Quesada was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Iker Casillas breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. An unexpectedly hard shot by Ove Bergman in the 14th minute of play forced Saint Côme de Fresné's goalkeeper Patrice Sénéchal to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. After a rather tough play, Saint Côme de Fresné's Henri Quesada got a free kick in the 14th minute. The supporters of Saint Côme de Fresné booed when Villa Gordiani was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 15 match minutes in a wonderful position. Ove Bergman didn't get a good kick on the ball. If Henri Quesada had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 23rd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. After 27 minutes of play, Villa Gordiani's Ove Bergman made it 0-1 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Patrice Sénéchal was left in no man's land by his defense there! Patrice Sénéchal didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Ove Bergman went, in the 32nd minute, to the upper right corner, 0-3 was the resulting score. 39 minutes into the match, Saint Côme de Fresné's goal looked a bit too open when Ove Bergman came free, but Patrice Sénéchal reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Jérémy Le Boucher hit a great freekick 42 minutes into the match. In the 46th match minute, Saint Côme de Fresné was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Karl Touzard to maneuver through the defense.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Ove Bergman stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. The supporters of Villa Gordiani booed when Saint Côme de Fresné was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 52 match minutes in a wonderful position. Karl Touzard didn't get a good kick on the ball. After a rather tough play, Saint Côme de Fresné's Firmin Boulogne got a free kick in the 82nd minute. Patrice Sénéchal made a fantastic save in the 87th minute, when Arrigo Marrone sent off a good shot on target. After 87 played minutes Arrigo Marrone rounded Saint Côme de Fresné's defense and shot a beautiful shot into goal via left pole - 0-7. An unexpectedly hard shot by Ove Bergman in the 93rd minute of play forced Saint Côme de Fresné's goalkeeper Patrice Sénéchal to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Patrice Sénéchal was a little too slow when Ove Bergman got a fine hit on the ball which went right into the goal in the 97th minute. The score was now 0-8. When the match was over Villa Gordiani could go home with a victory in their luggage, having controlled the game far better than Saint Côme de Fresné throughout the match.
