Lukáš Katačić's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Patrice Sénéchal read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 3rd minute of play. Lukáš Katačić received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 10th minute. Patrice Sénéchal tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Lukáš Katačić in the 14th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Patrice Sénéchal saved Saint Côme de Fresné from getting behind. If Lukáš Katačić had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 16th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Patrice Sénéchal was out of position in the 22 minute of play, and Lukáš Katačić capitalized on the mistake with a soft shot into the goal. Lukáš Katačić really showed his touch with that goal: 1-0. 26 minutes into the match, Florida Gulf Coast's goal looked a bit too open when Henri Quesada came free, but Luis Nardo reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Lukáš Katačić sent away a hard shot on goal in the 28th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. If Lukáš Katačić had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 29th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. A throw-in in the 34th minute of the game was made by Karl Touzard with Firmin Boulogne as target, who quickly passed the ball forward. Karl Touzard got a throw-in 37 minutes in the game and the ball was received by Firmin Boulogne. Joaquim Gibert hit a great freekick 38 minutes into the match. Patrice Sénéchal came out of the goal in the 39th minute to try and stop a shot by Florida Gulf Coast's Lukáš Katačić. But to his dismay, Lukáš Katačić quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 2-0. 45 minutes into the match, Florida Gulf Coast's goal looked a bit too open when Henri Quesada came free, but Luis Nardo reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. When the referee blew for the end of the half the home team players were clearly happier, as they went in to the break leading 2-0.

Patrice Sénéchal came out of the goal in the 53rd minute to try and stop a shot by Florida Gulf Coast's Sixto Bitxintxo. But to his dismay, Sixto Bitxintxo quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 3-0. Karl Touzard got a throw-in 61 minutes in the game and the ball was received by Firmin Boulogne. 61 minutes into the game, John James was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Florida Gulf Coast's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Saint Côme de Fresné the free kick. The supporters of Saint Côme de Fresné booed when Florida Gulf Coast was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 61 match minutes in a wonderful position. John James didn't get a good kick on the ball. After 66 played minutes Florida Gulf Coast got a freekick which was hit by Geronimo Bonadona. When the match clock showed 69 minutes, the score became 5-0 when Lukáš Katačić sped through Saint Côme de Fresné's defense and sent away a curving shot that went into the net to the right of Patrice Sénéchal. When Sixto Bitxintxo came up free with the goalie in the 74th minute, the Florida Gulf Coast fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Sixto Bitxintxo couldn't finish the play. The Florida Gulf Coast fans' excitement grew in the 79th match minute when Florida Gulf Coast's Lukáš Katačić looked to have a clear shot with the ball near the goal. The shot wasn't hard, but the ball still rolled over the goal line to make it 6-0 before the goalkeeper had a chance to intervene. Lukáš Katačić took the ball and in the 82 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Patrice Sénéchal. Patrice Sénéchal dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 7-0. If Lukáš Katačić had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 86th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Florida Gulf Coast's Nestor Inko was substituted for Lukáš Katačić. In the 89thth minute of the game Nestor Inko who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Saint Côme de Fresné's Patrice Sénéchal was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. Nestor Inko sent away a hard shot on goal in the 90th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. In the 91st match minute, Florida Gulf Coast was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Geronimo Bonadona to maneuver through the defense. In the 93rd minute, Jordan Garbay hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Patrice Sénéchal took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Nestor Inko, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Florida Gulf Coast walked away with a well-earned victory that was much celebrated by the crowd.
