Egil Brask kicked well hit freekick during the 12th minute of the match. In the 15thth minute of the game Isaias Eguerdi who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Tango en Miami FC's Steven Weken was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. In the 18th minute, Lamar MacDonald got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Steven Weken took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Isaias Eguerdi, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. József Murai kicked well hit freekick during the 22nd minute of the match. 24 minutes into the match, Worst Team Ever's goal looked a bit too open when Jarvis McLaughlin came free, but Evert Norberg reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Evert Norberg made an important save on a dangerous shot by Bernabe Bazo in the 30th minute. Jarvis McLaughlin recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 33rd minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Steven Weken made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Isaias Eguerdi in the 38th minute of play. In the 39th minute of the match Worst Team Ever got a corner. Tango en Miami FC's goalie ran out to the linesman to protest the call, but the linesman resolutely pointed his flag at the cornerflag. Alf Hamberg ran over to the corner to take the kick. After taking down the ball on Worst Team Ever's corner Alf Hamberg fired away a hard shot, but the defenders efficiently covered the most dangerous angles and Steven Weken quite easily take care of the ball. Evert Norberg took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Jarvis McLaughlin, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Evert Norberg showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Jarvis McLaughlin in the 46th minute of the match. Steven Weken didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Isaias Eguerdi went, in the 48th minute, to the upper right corner, 0-1 was the resulting score. The Tango en Miami FC players were disheartened as they walked off the pitch after the first half. Worst Team Ever were winning 0-1.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Isaias Eguerdi made a kick off. Tango en Miami FC's Steven Weken played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Isaias Eguerdi in the 54th minute of play. Evert Norberg showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Bernabe Bazo, who was totally free with the ball in the 55th minute. Lamar MacDonald fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 57th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Evert Norberg having to interfere. The supporters of Tango en Miami FC booed when Worst Team Ever was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 59 match minutes in a wonderful position. Isaias Eguerdi didn't get a good kick on the ball. Jarvis McLaughlin sent away a hard shot on goal in the 60th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. In the 62nd minute of the match Tito Goncalves sent off a long shot with destination to the right of the goalkeeper, but Evert Norberg skillfully saved the ball. After a defensive mix-up in Worst Team Ever's zone, Lamar MacDonald stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Evert Norberg came out of the goal and Lamar MacDonald tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. In the 64thth minute of the game Izydor Trela who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Worst Team Ever's Evert Norberg was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. Evert Norberg made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Izydor Trela in the 69th minute of play. Evert Norberg stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Bernabe Bazo's shot from short distance in the 71st minute. In the 72nd match minute, Tango en Miami FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Lamar MacDonald to maneuver through the defense. Evert Norberg made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Miles Person in the 75th minute of play. An unexpectedly hard shot by Bernabe Bazo in the 85th minute of play forced Worst Team Ever's goalkeeper Evert Norberg to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball.
