Spectators: 7504 (Terracing: 5629, Seating: 1726, VIP seats: 149) Dark clouds were building up when the players entered the field. None of the them looked very eager to play. Leonides Jaen started the match with the kick off. 3 minutes into the match, FF Forever's goalkeeper Breno Brodel had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Santiago Mino. In the 5th minute Santiago Mino shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Breno Brodel saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Breno Brodel made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Santiago Mino in the 6th minute of play. A collision led to FF Forever getting a freekick after 7 minutes play. Eustacio Ermano hit a great ball. After 10 played minutes FF Forever got a freekick which was hit by Filomeno Salamon. Alfredo Joey made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Leonides Jaen in the 20th minute of play. After some careless play in the FF Forever defense, Santiago Mino kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Breno Brodel. The FF Forever fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Breno Brodel should have stopped the shot. 28 minutes into the game, Amancio Valiente was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. FF Forever's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Palermo the free kick. The supporters of Palermo booed when FF Forever was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 28 match minutes in a wonderful position. Amancio Valiente didn't get a good kick on the ball. Arnoldo Medina's shot when he came free in front of the goal in the 33rdth minute, Breno Brodel skillfully showed off with a save to what seemed to be an obvious goal. In the 33rd minute, Santiago Mino got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. An unexpectedly hard shot by Eustacio Ermano in the 36th minute of play forced Palermo's goalkeeper Alfredo Joey to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. If Arnoldo Medina had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 37th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. In the 44th minute, Leonides Jaen got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. The away team players looked dejected as the walked off the pitch at half time. They had fought hard, but were still losing 1-0.

Amancio Valiente kicked well hit freekick during the 57th minute of the match. The supporters of FF Forever booed when Palermo was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 58 match minutes in a wonderful position. Anacleto Itzaina didn't get a good kick on the ball. Arnoldo Medina sent away a hard shot on goal in the 63rd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. 66 minutes into the match, Palermo's goalkeeper Alfredo Joey had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Leonides Jaen. In the 70th minute, Santiago Mino made a precise shot to the right of Breno Brodel. FF Forever's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 2-0. A collision led to Palermo getting a freekick after 73 minutes play. Marcelino Chaime hit a great ball. Breno Brodel didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Arnoldo Medina went, in the 82nd minute, to the upper right corner, 3-0 was the resulting score. Breno Brodel came out of the goal in the 86th minute to try and stop a shot by Palermo's Arnoldo Medina. But to his dismay, Arnoldo Medina quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 4-0. In the 94th match minute, Palermo was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Carles Borg to maneuver through the defense. The referee blew his whistle, and the match came to a close. The players exchanged shirts and headed down the tunnel. The Palermo fans cheered their team off the field, for while FF Forever had put up a good fight, they were unable to come out of the game with any points to show for their effort.
