When the match had gone on for 22 minutes, Marco Van Der Taelen put it in 4-0 from a short distance just to the right of Christiano Trevisan. San Ciro Utd's Bruno Conti got a good chance for a goal in the 28th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. When Marco Van Der Taelen came up free with the goalie in the 29th minute, the San Ciro Utd fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Marco Van Der Taelen couldn't finish the play. In the 31st minute the ball was on its way in behind Morro Grande E.C's goalkeeper Christiano Trevisan, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. Morro Grande E.C's defense didn't have a chance, in the 35th minute, when Marco Van Der Taelen scored to the left of an out of position Christiano Trevisan, making the score, 7-0. San Ciro Utd's supporters crossed their fingers, but Marco Van Der Taelen was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. In the 64th minute, Marco Van Der Taelen ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Christiano Trevisan was frozen by the shot and now it was 12-0.
