In the 2nd minute Arnoldo Medina shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Breno Brodel saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. An unexpectedly hard shot by Santiago Mino in the 4th minute of play forced FF Forever's goalkeeper Breno Brodel to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. 6 minutes into the match, Leonides Jaen had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Alfredo Joey. Palermo's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Leonides Jaen was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 1-0. In the 9th minute Santiago Mino shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Breno Brodel saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Palermo's attacker deliberately struck the ball against an opponent to win a corner for his team. The corner was taken by Saul Felo in the 10th minute. In the 14th minute Arnoldo Medina shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Breno Brodel saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Breno Brodel made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Arnoldo Medina in the 14th minute of play. Breno Brodel made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Marcelino Chaime in the 25th minute of play. 25 minutes into the match, FF Forever's goal looked a bit too open when Marcelino Chaime came free, but Breno Brodel reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Santiago Mino in the 29th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Breno Brodel prevented the ball from getting in the gole. The corner ended in Saul Felo almost managing to get the ball behind the net, but FF Forever's Breno Brodel did a great save. When Palermo's Santiago Mino in the 36th minute got a chance for a shot 36th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye FF Forever's goalie prevented a goal. Breno Brodel showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Santiago Mino in the 37th minute of the match. In the 39th minute of the match Palermo got a corner. FF Forever's goalie ran out to the linesman to protest the call, but the linesman resolutely pointed his flag at the cornerflag. Saul Felo ran over to the corner to take the kick. A nice corner shot did that Saul Felo got away a dangerous shot. Despite this Breno Brodel quite easily got ahold of the ball to make the save. The supporters of FF Forever booed when Palermo was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 42 match minutes in a wonderful position. William Bengtsson didn't get a good kick on the ball. When Palermo's Santiago Mino in the 46th minute got a chance for a shot 46th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye FF Forever's goalie prevented a goal. Af the end of the first half the score was 1-0. The first half had gone as expected for the home team.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Leonides Jaen stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. Santiago Mino received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 51st minute. Breno Brodel tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. In the 52nd minute, Leonides Jaen hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Leonides Jaen fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 59th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Alfredo Joey having to interfere. Arnoldo Medina recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 62nd minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. With a little luck, FF Forever's Breno Brodel got control of the ball when Santiago Mino tried to sneak it across the goal line. When Palermo's Santiago Mino in the 68th minute got a chance for a shot 68th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye FF Forever's goalie prevented a goal. FF Forever's defense didn't have a chance, in the 72nd minute, when Santiago Mino scored to the left of an out of position Breno Brodel, making the score, 1-1. With a little luck, FF Forever's Breno Brodel got control of the ball when Santiago Mino tried to sneak it across the goal line. Benigno Jusepe scored 2-1 in the 80th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Alfredo Joey, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. 86 minutes into the match, FF Forever's goal looked a bit too open when Santiago Mino came free, but Breno Brodel reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Arnoldo Medina fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 90th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Breno Brodel having to interfere. Breno Brodel showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Arnoldo Medina, who was totally free with the ball in the 91st minute. Breno Brodel stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Arnoldo Medina's shot from short distance in the 94th minute. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Arnoldo Medina in the 96th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Breno Brodel saved FF Forever from getting behind. Palermo's supporters were dissatisfied at the end of the match because FF Forever had won, even though Palermo had held more of the ball.
