In the 15thth minute of the game Walmir Breckenfeld who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Zijdewind SC's Leon Meyer was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. 18 minutes into the match, Walmir Breckenfeld notched a goal, 0-2, to the right of Zijdewind SC's Leon Meyer. Leon Meyer was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. An unexpectedly hard shot by Walmir Breckenfeld in the 21st minute of play forced Zijdewind SC's goalkeeper Leon Meyer to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Leon Meyer came out of the goal in the 23rd minute to try and stop a shot by Gyál United's Walmir Breckenfeld. But to his dismay, Walmir Breckenfeld quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 0-3. Walmir Breckenfeld might have been able to make a better finish in the 26th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Leon Meyer. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Walmir Breckenfeld ran back to his position shaking his head. 26 minutes into the match, Zijdewind SC's goal looked a bit too open when Walmir Breckenfeld came free, but Leon Meyer reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Leon Meyer made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Walmir Breckenfeld in the 28th minute of play. In a very dangerous position, a player in Zijdewind SC fell when an opponent tried to get the ball from him in the 31st minute. Penalty! Leon Meyer had in the 32ndth minute some difficulties stopping Konstantinos Kroustallis's well aimed penalty as it nearly passed him on his left side, but he still managed to hold the ball. Leon Meyer stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Walmir Breckenfeld's shot from short distance in the 34th minute. Walmir Breckenfeld sent away a hard shot on goal in the 35th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. 35 minutes into the match, Zijdewind SC's goal looked a bit too open when Walmir Breckenfeld came free, but Leon Meyer reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. 37 minutes into the game, Walmir Breckenfeld cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 0-4. Leon Meyer was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. When Walmir Breckenfeld came up free with the goalie in the 42nd minute, the Gyál United fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Walmir Breckenfeld couldn't finish the play. In the 44th minute, Walmir Breckenfeld got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. If Walmir Breckenfeld had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 46th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead.
Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Rein van Steensel to make the kick off. Kemal Davarcı scored 0-5 in the 55th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Leon Meyer, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. An unexpectedly hard shot by Erwin Bienvenu in the 58th minute of play forced Zijdewind SC's goalkeeper Leon Meyer to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. After 58 played minutes Zijdewind SC got a freekick which was hit by Rudi den Hartog. Kemal Davarcı took the ball and in the 59 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Leon Meyer. Leon Meyer dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 0-6. 62 minutes into the game, Gyál United's Konstantinos Kroustallis nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Leon Meyer made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 0-7. Leon Meyer made an important save on a dangerous shot by Konstantinos Kroustallis in the 65th minute. 69 minutes into the game, Kemal Davarcı cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 0-8. Leon Meyer was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. 73 minutes into the match, Kemal Davarcı had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Leon Meyer. Zijdewind SC's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Kemal Davarcı was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 0-9. The supporters of Gyál United booed when Zijdewind SC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 78 match minutes in a wonderful position. Marcel Luirink didn't get a good kick on the ball. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Konstantinos Kroustallis during the 85th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. Kemal Davarcı blasted a shot towards the goal in the 88th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Leon Meyer having to make a save. Kemal Davarcı could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 88th minute of the match, but Leon Meyer made a huge save. After some careless play in the Zijdewind SC defense, Kemal Davarcı kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Leon Meyer. The Zijdewind SC fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Leon Meyer should have stopped the shot. An unexpectedly hard shot by Kemal Davarcı in the 96th minute of play forced Zijdewind SC's goalkeeper Leon Meyer to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball.
