The corner led Cheetah Team's Valter Mellin to fire away a dangerous shot which Pankracy Glogowski despite some difficulties managed to get hold on the ball. Claes Caspersson took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Mugur Chiriac, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Club Atlético Atlanta's Pankracy Glogowski played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Valter Mellin in the 19th minute of play. In the 22nd minute Valter Mellin shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Pankracy Glogowski saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Cheetah Team were awarded a corner in the 24th minute after Club Atlético Atlanta's defender lost control of the ball, allowing it to roll out over the line. Egon Ahlbom took the corner. After taking down the ball on Cheetah Team's corner Egon Ahlbom fired away a hard shot, but the defenders efficiently covered the most dangerous angles and Pankracy Glogowski quite easily take care of the ball. After a rather tough play, Club Atlético Atlanta's Remigio Erramu got a free kick in the 27th minute. An unexpectedly hard shot by Mugur Chiriac in the 43rd minute of play forced Cheetah Team's goalkeeper Claes Caspersson to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball.
