Sufi Kutsan fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 73rd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Chicão de Azevedo having to interfere. When the match had gone on for 75 minutes, Edward Walczyk put it in 2-1 from a short distance just to the right of Chicão de Azevedo. Przemyslaw Winnicki showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Sílvio Luiz da Costa, who was totally free with the ball in the 83rd minute. Chicão de Azevedo made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Zula Bielatowicz in the 87th minute of play. The supporters of Torino SSA booed when Skrwa Sikórz was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 88 match minutes in a wonderful position. Tymoteusz Lesiecki didn't get a good kick on the ball. Torino SSA's Egídio de Almeida was substituted for Víktor Guerra.
