The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when 李昂枫 stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. When the match clock showed 51 minutes, the score became 3-0 when Róbert Benkó sped through 东方远大队's defense and sent away a curving shot that went into the net to the right of Gervasio Estefan. In the 92nd minute, Filomeno Igon ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Gervasio Estefan was frozen by the shot and now it was 6-0. In the 95th minute, Omar Florinio left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Armada fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 7-0. There was no doubt that Armada were the better team. Armada's players enjoyed the ovations of the crowd after the victory.
