After some fancy dribbling in the 9th minute, 孟竞凡 managed to get in a good position for a shot. 东方远大队's supporters rose to their feet, but 孟竞凡 was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Geovanni Hoffmann breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. If 吴梁鹰 had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 12th minute. A collision led to Cascatinha United getting a freekick after 19 minutes play. Osmar Mattos hit a great ball. If 李昂枫 had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 23rd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Cascatinha United's Geovanni Hoffmann played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by 吴梁鹰 in the 29th minute of play. Clóvis de Senna came free with the goalkeeper in the 30th minute of the match, and shot straight on target. The shot was a little too simple and Gervasio Estefan could save by the left post. After a rather tough play, Cascatinha United's Osmar Mattos got a free kick in the 33rd minute. With a couple of smart ball manuevers 李昂枫 in the 34th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Geovanni Hoffmann saved Cascatinha United from getting behind. Geovanni Hoffmann showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from 陆政南, who was totally free with the ball in the 37th minute. In the 38th minute 东方远大队 were awarded a corner. 钱亮诚 went to the cornerflag to take it. After 39th play minutes 李昂枫 shot 0-2, a short shot which went by Geovanni Hoffmann and just under the crossbar into goal. 44 minutes into the game, Clóvis de Senna was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Cascatinha United's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave 东方远大队 the free kick. The supporters of 东方远大队 booed when Cascatinha United was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 45 match minutes in a wonderful position. Clóvis de Senna didn't get a good kick on the ball. The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Clóvis de Senna was the one to do the kick off. 53 minutes into the game, Cascatinha United's Santos Fidensio nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Gervasio Estefan made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 1-2. 陆政南 fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 58th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Geovanni Hoffmann having to interfere. In the 66th match minute, 东方远大队 was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by 赵渊鸿 to maneuver through the defense. After recieving a nice pass, Cascatinha United's Abelardo Nascimento tried to score from far away in the 67th minute, but the ball went over the crossbar. 孟竞凡 recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 71st minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Abelardo Nascimento took a chance and fired a shot far from the goal in the 75th minute, but it turned out to be a dangerous situation for Gervasio Estefan. 东方远大队's goalkeeper really had to stretch himself to stop the ball from crossing the goal line. 孟竞凡 recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 76th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. 东方远大队 made a substitution. 魏阳夕 replaced 黄明峰. In the 84th minute 苏骏凌 shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Geovanni Hoffmann saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. In the 85th minute, Clóvis de Senna made a precise shot to the right of Gervasio Estefan. 东方远大队's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 2-2. When 魏阳夕 fell near the penalty area in the 89th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored 东方远大队's protests and gave 魏阳夕 a yellow card for diving instead.
