Spectators: 7593 (Terracing: 5696, Seating: 1746, VIP seats: 151) Rodrigo-Sebastian Palacio started the match with the kick off in front of an excited audience. Octavio Gonzo fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 4th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Eugenio Asier having to interfere. Rodrigo-Sebastian Palacio's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Eugenio Asier read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 6th minute of play. Wilhelm Volle kicked a quick shot right in front of the goal in the 8thth minute. Though ot was a great shot Rafaela FC's keeper Inocencio Veronica was sill able to block leaving the score board unchanged. After 10 played minutes Rafaela FC got a freekick which was hit by Alex Suhendar. In the 15th minute, Efrain Roldan left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The CERPA fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 1-0. 18 minutes into the match, CERPA's goal looked a bit too open when Rodrigo-Sebastian Palacio came free, but Eugenio Asier reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. 25 minutes into the game, Victoriano Tonete recieved a splendid long ball, split the defenders, and gently placed the ball to the left of Inocencio Veronica. Victoriano Tonete showed that you don't have to tear a hole in the net to score, 2-0. Octavio Gonzo blasted a shot towards the goal in the 28th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Eugenio Asier having to make a save. 29 minutes into the match, CERPA's goal looked a bit too open when Octavio Gonzo came free, but Eugenio Asier reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. 30 minutes into the game, one of Rafaela FC:s players got tackled near the goal, and the referee blew for a penalty. Octavio Gonzo might have been able to make a better finish in the 34th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Eugenio Asier. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Octavio Gonzo ran back to his position shaking his head. Victoriano Tonete received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 35th minute. Inocencio Veronica tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. The audience thought a goal was coming when Efrain Roldan got free with Inocencio Veronica in the 37th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Rafaela FC's Inocencio Veronica played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Efrain Roldan in the 42nd minute of play. If Octavio Gonzo had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 43rd minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. Eugenio Asier took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Octavio Gonzo, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In the 48th minute of the match Rafaela FC got a corner. CERPA's goalie ran out to the linesman to protest the call, but the linesman resolutely pointed his flag at the cornerflag. Nico Veit ran over to the corner to take the kick. The corner led Rafaela FC's Nico Veit to fire away a dangerous shot which Eugenio Asier despite some difficulties managed to get hold on the ball.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Efrain Roldan was the one to do the kick off. In the 51st minute Camillo Daniele shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Eugenio Asier saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Rafaela FC's attacker deliberately struck the ball against an opponent to win a corner for his team. The corner was taken by Nico Veit in the 56th minute. The corner went over the outstretched arms of CERPA's goalie and right to Ross Strong. He fired away a shot at goal, but the shot had too much spin, and it went just outside the goal. CERPA's manager breathed a sigh of relief on the sidelines as his team had managed to escape an almost certain goal. Ross Strong's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Eugenio Asier read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 57th minute of play. A collision led to Rafaela FC getting a freekick after 59 minutes play. Basilio Guillerme hit a great ball. In the 59th match minute, Rafaela FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Basilio Guillerme to maneuver through the defense. Efrain Roldan recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 60th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Inocencio Veronica made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Efrain Roldan in the 68th minute of play. Eugenio Asier took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Nico Veit, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. When the match had gone on for 75 minutes, Rodrigo-Sebastian Palacio put it in 3-1 from a short distance just to the right of Eugenio Asier. Rafaela FC made a substitution. Ubaldo Lluis replaced Basilio Guillerme. Inocencio Veronica showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Efrain Roldan, who was totally free with the ball in the 80th minute. Inocencio Veronica made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Efrain Roldan in the 97th minute of play. Rafaela FC's players left the field with heads hung low after losing a match that had been finely balanced throughout.
