After some fancy dribbling in the 24th minute, Walery Gonsiewski managed to get in a good position for a shot. Real Zamość's supporters rose to their feet, but Walery Gonsiewski was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Therkild Prendorf breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. 27 minutes into the match, Wincenty Glaza notched a goal, 0-3, to the right of UFC STEAUA's Therkild Prendorf. Therkild Prendorf was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. Palmiro Mourinho kicked well hit freekick during the 30th minute of the match. Filip Pawlak struck a weak shot in the 31st minute. Therkild Prendorf didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Real Zamość. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Walery Gonsiewski in the 37th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Therkild Prendorf prevented the ball from getting in the gole. After having played for 41 minutes, Palmiro Mourinho managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. UFC STEAUA's supporters crossed their fingers, but Palmiro Mourinho was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Isaac Guipuzkoa was the one to do the kick off. In the 51st match minute, Real Zamość was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Irmantas Sabeckas to maneuver through the defense. When the match clock showed 52 minutes, the score became 1-3 when Isaac Guipuzkoa sped through Real Zamość's defense and sent away a curving shot that went into the net to the right of Krzysztof Oleszak. After 54 played minutes UFC STEAUA got a freekick which was hit by Isaac Guipuzkoa. Real Zamość's Krzysztof Oleszak played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Isaac Guipuzkoa in the 60th minute of play. Walery Gonsiewski in the 64thth minute had a little luck and got a chance for a shot in front of the goal. Without hesitation aimed to the right of Therkild Prendorf, who managed to lunge to the right direction and made a save. Wincenty Glaza received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 68th minute. Therkild Prendorf tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. After some fancy dribbling in the 72nd minute, Emanuel Gheorghe managed to get in a good position for a shot. UFC STEAUA's supporters rose to their feet, but Emanuel Gheorghe was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Krzysztof Oleszak breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Therkild Prendorf showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Wincenty Glaza, who was totally free with the ball in the 76th minute. Krzysztof Oleszak made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Emanuel Gheorghe in the 78th minute of play. The supporters of UFC STEAUA booed when Real Zamość was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 84 match minutes in a wonderful position. Filip Pawlak didn't get a good kick on the ball. In the 90th minute Emanuel Gheorghe shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Krzysztof Oleszak saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. When the final whistle was heard the away supporters stood up and showed their joy. Real Zamość had managed to secure a win in what was a close match throughout.
