Jan-Olof Eliasson took the ball and in the 27 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Femke Bol. Belchior Saldanha was left in no man's land by his defense there! The first half was very even, with the score at 1-1 when the whistle went for half-time. The players welcomed the break and quickly retired to the dressing rooms.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Fulgencio Gartzi made a kick off. Femke Bol made a fantastic save in the 55th minute, when Jan-Olof Eliasson sent off a good shot on target. In the 60th minute of the match, Fulgencio Gartzi tried to roll the ball into the goal by the right post, but Femke Bol saw his intentions and got control of the ball before it passed the line. La Gallardeta's attacker deliberately struck the ball against an opponent to win a corner for his team. The corner was taken by Alessio Scandella in the 61st minute. Jan-Olof Eliasson was in a good position and managed to take a shot, but he missed just to the outside of the post. Vinicio Polentzi hit a great freekick 64 minutes into the match. After some fancy dribbling in the 65th minute, Pastor Gitano managed to get in a good position for a shot. Figueira SC FSCMZ's supporters rose to their feet, but Pastor Gitano was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. After 69 played minutes Figueira SC FSCMZ got a freekick which was hit by Dadá Macedo. 80 minutes into the match, La Gallardeta's goal looked a bit too open when Yuri Reis came free, but Belchior Saldanha reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Belchior Saldanha took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Pastor Gitano, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Jan-Olof Eliasson received a nice pass, split the defenders, and ran untouched towards the goal. Femke Bol came out and tried to block the shot, but Jan-Olof Eliasson slotted it home off the left post making it 1-3 in the 88th minute. Belchior Saldanha took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Cássio Guimarães, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. When the final whistle was heard the away supporters stood up and showed their joy. La Gallardeta had managed to secure a win in what was a close match throughout.
