Jake Marriott recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 3rd minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. 6 minutes into the game, Henley on Thames United's Jake Marriott nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Gar Cumbres made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 0-1. Gar Cumbres showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Kristian Ottaway in the 11th minute of the match. Carl Houghton fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 15th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Gar Cumbres having to interfere. When Kristian Ottaway came up free with the goalie in the 17th minute, the Henley on Thames United fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Kristian Ottaway couldn't finish the play. Sofoklis Prinianakis stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Raymon Albisu's shot from short distance in the 19th minute. Kristian Ottaway shot a long shot in the 21st minute and a light blocked Gar Cumbres hadn't a chance when the ball went into goal on his right side. It was 0-2. Osoro Valaguer sent away a hard shot on goal in the 27th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. An unexpectedly hard shot by Kristian Ottaway in the 36th minute of play forced Chandozos's goalkeeper Gar Cumbres to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. The Henley on Thames United fans' excitement grew in the 36th match minute when Henley on Thames United's Kristian Ottaway looked to have a clear shot with the ball near the goal. The shot wasn't hard, but the ball still rolled over the goal line to make it 0-3 before the goalkeeper had a chance to intervene. Vellito Colmenares sent away a hard shot on goal in the 45th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. The Chandozos players were disheartened as they walked off the pitch after the first half. Henley on Thames United were winning 0-3.

When the match had gone on for 52 minutes, Carl Houghton took a quick shot and it went in 0-4 without a chance for Gar Cumbres to make any attempt to save it. A collision led to Chandozos getting a freekick after 56 minutes play. Vernon Cryer hit a great ball. The crowd rose to their feet as Grant Sherwood kicked a wonderful shot that went in to the left of a diving Gar Cumbres. That made the score 0-5 in the 57 minute of play. In the 64th minute, Kristian Ottaway hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Chandozos made a substitution. Mantzio Consul replaced Raymon Albisu. Kristian Ottaway kicked well hit freekick during the 65th minute of the match. If Adan Catalan had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 67th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. Henley on Thames United's Sofoklis Prinianakis played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Adan Catalan in the 67th minute of play. Gar Cumbres showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Kristian Ottaway, who was totally free with the ball in the 69th minute. Mantzio Consul took the ball and in the 71 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Sofoklis Prinianakis. Sofoklis Prinianakis dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 1-5. Gar Cumbres made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Kristian Ottaway in the 74th minute of play. Gar Cumbres showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Kristian Ottaway in the 78th minute of the match. Jake Marriott charged in rather forcefully in the 80th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Jake Marriott the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. In the 84th minute the ball was on its way in behind Henley on Thames United's goalkeeper Sofoklis Prinianakis, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. The crowd rose to their feet as Henley on Thames United's Kristian Ottaway slotted home a wonderful shot that went in to the left of Gar Cumbres. That made the score 1-6 after 88 minutes of play. The crowd rose to their feet as Henley on Thames United's Edgar Iovanovici slotted home a wonderful shot that went in to the left of Gar Cumbres. That made the score 1-7 after 92 minutes of play. When the final whistle sounded Henley on Thames United left the ground with the victory after a much better performance than Chandozos.
