An unexpectedly hard shot by Fulgencio Gartzi in the 47th minute of play forced BARRILETE COSMICO's goalkeeper Jesus Llope to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Eloy Dubardo to strike the kick off in the second half. After a rather tough play, BARRILETE COSMICO's Orlando Servando got a free kick in the 54th minute. A collision led to BARRILETE COSMICO getting a freekick after 55 minutes play. Luis Avellaneda hit a great ball. Eloy Dubardo's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Belchior Saldanha read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 61st minute of play. Jan-Olof Eliasson received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 64th minute. Jesus Llope tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. La Gallardeta's Belchior Saldanha proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 74th minute of the match, managed to save La Gallardeta from getting a goal against them. Jesus Llope made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Fulgencio Gartzi in the 76th minute of play. Jan-Olof Eliasson might have been able to make a better finish in the 78th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Jesus Llope. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Jan-Olof Eliasson ran back to his position shaking his head. After some fancy dribbling in the 83rd minute, Fulgencio Gartzi managed to get in a good position for a shot. La Gallardeta's supporters rose to their feet, but Fulgencio Gartzi was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Jesus Llope breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. La Gallardeta's Belchior Saldanha played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Lionel Messi in the 88th minute of play. In the 89th minute, Jan-Olof Eliasson ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Jesus Llope was frozen by the shot and now it was 5-0. La Gallardeta's fans were exulted and cheered after their team won in a match that could easily have gone the other way.
