Xu Yue Yuan hit a great freekick 43 minutes into the match. When Firma Barnängen's Mark Olsson in 44 game minutes managed to cut through with the ball in front of the goal, only having to shoot. Therkild Prendorf guarding the goal like a pit bull was extremely focused and managed to reach the ball just by the crossbar before it went in. When the referee blew for the end of the half the home team players were clearly happier, as they went in to the break leading 2-0.

Humberto Alcaraz received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 66th minute. Therkild Prendorf tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. In the 68th minute, Mark Olsson made a precise shot to the right of Therkild Prendorf. UFC STEAUA's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 5-0. Mark Olsson sent away a hard shot on goal in the 70th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. The supporters of Firma Barnängen booed when UFC STEAUA was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 92 match minutes in a wonderful position. Rafet Faydalı didn't get a good kick on the ball.
