When Fetih Piruz came up free with the goalie in the 3rd minute, the Marzagão fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Fetih Piruz couldn't finish the play. Pedro Toledo's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Herbert Wawak read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 7th minute of play. After some fancy dribbling in the 9th minute, Fetih Piruz managed to get in a good position for a shot. Marzagão's supporters rose to their feet, but Fetih Piruz was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Herbert Wawak breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. In the 13th minute, Oliviero Vuelta ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Herbert Wawak was frozen by the shot and now it was 0-2. 16 minutes into the match, Oliviero Vuelta notched a goal, 0-3, to the right of Super Nova Galaxy's Herbert Wawak. Herbert Wawak was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. After some careless play in the Super Nova Galaxy defense, Oliviero Vuelta kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Herbert Wawak. The Super Nova Galaxy fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Herbert Wawak should have stopped the shot. An unexpectedly hard shot by Murillo do Valle in the 23rd minute of play forced Super Nova Galaxy's goalkeeper Herbert Wawak to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 24th minute Marzagão were awarded a corner. Valério Mazza went to the cornerflag to take it. After a rather tough play, Marzagão's Jânio Faria got a free kick in the 24th minute. When the match had gone on for 29 minutes, Murillo do Valle put it in 0-5 from a short distance just to the right of Herbert Wawak. In the 33rd minute, Murillo do Valle ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Herbert Wawak was frozen by the shot and now it was 0-6. 36 minutes into the game, Murillo do Valle cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 0-7. Herbert Wawak was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. An unexpectedly hard shot by Oliviero Vuelta in the 43rd minute of play forced Super Nova Galaxy's goalkeeper Herbert Wawak to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Herbert Wawak made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Fetih Piruz in the 44th minute of play. After some careless play in the Super Nova Galaxy defense, Oliviero Vuelta kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Herbert Wawak. The Super Nova Galaxy fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Herbert Wawak should have stopped the shot. Even after changing tactics the home team jogged off the field with a 0-9 deficit. They would have to work harder if they wanted to turn things around in the second half.

Herbert Wawak took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Pedro Toledo, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Super Nova Galaxy's Herbert Wawak played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Pedro Toledo in the 58th minute of play. In the 59th minute, Ludomil Dula hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Herbert Wawak made a fantastic save in the 63rd minute, when Oliviero Vuelta sent off a good shot on target. In the 66th minute, Domingos Santiago ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Herbert Wawak was frozen by the shot and now it was 0-11. 72 minutes into the game, Marzagão's Oliviero Vuelta nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Herbert Wawak made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 0-12. Herbert Wawak was out of position in the 78 minute of play, and Oliviero Vuelta capitalized on the mistake with a soft shot into the goal. Oliviero Vuelta really showed his touch with that goal: 0-13. Herbert Wawak showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Pedro Toledo, who was totally free with the ball in the 81st minute. After 83 minutes of play, Marzagão's Domingos Santiago made it 0-14 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Herbert Wawak was left in no man's land by his defense there! 0-15 became the score in the 86th minute when Murillo do Valle elegantly shot the ball into goal just under the crossbar. After a rather tough play, Marzagão's Domingos Santiago got a free kick in the 91st minute. When the final whistle sounded Marzagão left the ground with the victory after a much better performance than Super Nova Galaxy.
