Ferdinand Acevedo received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 13th minute. Silvio Bazil tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Platense es de Primera!!'s Olivér Khan played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Giovanni Arósio in the 21st minute of play. In the 27th minute Ruperto Porfirio shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Olivér Khan saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Martin Palermo F.C.'s Silvio Bazil proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 30th minute of the match, managed to save Martin Palermo F.C. from getting a goal against them. When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Guillermo Izquierdo made a kick off. After a rather tough play, Platense es de Primera!!'s Emir Kujović got a free kick in the 54th minute. Tiburcio Pepillo struck a weak shot in the 55th minute. Olivér Khan didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Martin Palermo F.C.. Platense es de Primera!! made a substitution. The corner led Martin Palermo F.C.'s Guillermo Izquierdo to fire away a dangerous shot which Olivér Khan despite some difficulties managed to get hold on the ball. Olivér Khan stood somewhat misplaced when Guillermo Izquierdo came free in front of goal and shot 1-5 to the left of him in the 61 minute. 63 minutes into the match, Platense es de Primera!!'s goal looked a bit too open when Tiburcio Pepillo came free, but Olivér Khan reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Platense es de Primera!!'s supporters rose to their feet, but Moises Inocente was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Silvio Bazil breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Silvio Bazil showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Moises Inocente in the 82nd minute of the match. In the 85th minute of the match, Tiburcio Pepillo tried to roll the ball into the goal by the right post, but Olivér Khan saw his intentions and got control of the ball before it passed the line. 87 minutes into the match, Platense es de Primera!!'s Moises Inocente sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Silvio Bazil narrowly saved just below the crossbar. Ferdinand Acevedo took the ball and in the 89 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Silvio Bazil. Silvio Bazil dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 2-5. Olivér Khan made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Guillermo Izquierdo in the 94th minute of play. Silvio Bazil showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Moises Inocente, who was totally free with the ball in the 96th minute. Moises Inocente might have been able to make a better finish in the 98th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Silvio Bazil. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Moises Inocente ran back to his position shaking his head.
