Humberto Escobar might have been able to make a better finish in the 5th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Charles de Brito. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Humberto Escobar ran back to his position shaking his head. Atlético Capixaba's Charles de Brito played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Humberto Escobar in the 7th minute of play. Humberto Escobar succeeded to score despite a near miss that spronge from right pole into the goal to 1-0 in the 7th playminute. Martín Ulloa took the ball and in the 11 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Charles de Brito. Charles de Brito dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 2-0. After 18 minutes of play, Atlético Capixaba's Wiliam Perez made it 2-1 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Juan Benavides was left in no man's land by his defense there! Jesus Santikurtz hit a great freekick 22 minutes into the match. 23 minutes into the match, ►Las Mercedes F.C◄'s goal looked a bit too open when Wiliam Perez came free, but Juan Benavides reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 29thth minute of the game Wiliam Perez who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but ►Las Mercedes F.C◄'s Juan Benavides was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. 32 minutes into the match, Atlético Capixaba's goal looked a bit too open when Guillermo Escalona came free, but Charles de Brito reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Juan Benavides showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Wiliam Perez in the 33rd minute of the match. When Giancarlo Mora fell near the penalty area in the 38th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored ►Las Mercedes F.C◄'s protests and gave Giancarlo Mora a yellow card for diving instead. The supporters of Atlético Capixaba booed when ►Las Mercedes F.C◄ was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 39 match minutes in a wonderful position. Giancarlo Mora didn't get a good kick on the ball. Juan Benavides didn't succeed to prevent the ball from going into goal when Atlético Capixaba's Wiliam Perez shot an unexpected shot in the crossbar's under edge and made 2-2 in the ordered_time% minute. Martín Ulloa received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 47th minute. Charles de Brito tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. The first half was very even, with the score at 2-2 when the whistle went for half-time. The players welcomed the break and quickly retired to the dressing rooms.

Atlético Capixaba's Charles de Brito played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Humberto Escobar in the 55th minute of play. Wiliam Perez scored 2-3 in the 58th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Juan Benavides, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. Charles de Brito showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Nelsinho Nóbrega in the 61st minute of the match. In the 65th minute Wiliam Perez shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Juan Benavides saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. In the 66th minute, Wiliam Perez got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Charles de Brito took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Martín Ulloa, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In the 76th minute ►Las Mercedes F.C◄ were awarded a corner. Giancarlo Mora went to the cornerflag to take it. Jean Fernandez sent away a hard shot on goal in the 79th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. 81 minutes into the match, Atlético Capixaba's Jean Fernandez sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Juan Benavides narrowly saved just below the crossbar. In the 86th minute, Humberto Escobar ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Charles de Brito was frozen by the shot and now it was 3-3. When ►Las Mercedes F.C◄'s Humberto Escobar in the 93rd minute got a chance for a shot 93rd didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye Atlético Capixaba's goalie prevented a goal. Juan Benavides came out of the goal in the 95th minute to try and stop a shot by Atlético Capixaba's Jean Fernandez. But to his dismay, Jean Fernandez quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 3-4. When the final whistle went the supporters of Atlético Capixaba were delighted that their team had defeated the much more dominant ►Las Mercedes F.C◄ side.
