Thanks to some nice moves Amine Philibert could shoot a difficult shot in the 47th minute, which Panait Frânculescu however easily saved by the left post. The fans had the chance to grab some refreshments as the whistle went for half-time. The score stood at 2-2 after a close first half.

After having played for 58 minutes, Amine Philibert managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Ground Control's supporters crossed their fingers, but Amine Philibert was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. In the 59th minute, Harold Fougère hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Faustão Abraão might have been able to make a better finish in the 61st minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Jérémie Millier. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out.
