He Fei Zhou made in the 7th minute of the game a throw-in that took a bad bounce and was taken care of by Ground Control's Harold Fougère. 12 minutes had been played when some careless play by Cercadinho's defense caused the ball to cross the line for a corner. Batiste Lassalle was slow to take the kick. During this time Ground Control's players had a chance to rest. An unexpectedly hard shot by Pascal Trefzer in the 12th minute of play forced Cercadinho's goalkeeper Mugurel Zota to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Ground Control's Jérémie Millier played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Valiente Venezian in the 14th minute of play. 18 minutes into the game, Amine Philibert cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 1-0. Mugurel Zota was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. In the 21st minute, Abdulkadir Turay got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Abdulkadir Turay's late challenge caught a Ground Control's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Abdulkadir Turay helped the player get up and apologised. Abdulkadir Turay hit a great freekick 22 minutes into the match. Amine Philibert recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 25th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. With a little luck, Cercadinho's Mugurel Zota got control of the ball when Amine Philibert tried to sneak it across the goal line. Mugurel Zota made an important save on a dangerous shot by Amine Philibert in the 31st minute. Walmir Pirani got a throw-in 32 minutes in the game and the ball was received by William de Castro. Abdulkadir Turay struck a weak shot in the 39th minute. Jérémie Millier didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Cercadinho. Lorenzo Clavier's late challenge caught a Cercadinho's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. The first half was very even, with the score at 1-1 when the whistle went for half-time. The players welcomed the break and quickly retired to the dressing rooms.

The wind increased when Amine Philibert made the kick off in the second half. Ground Control's Amine Philibert got a good chance for a goal in the 53rd minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. If Amine Philibert had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 57th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. Enrique Gerber hit a great freekick 59 minutes into the match. After a rather tough play, Cercadinho's Enrique Gerber got a free kick in the 60th minute. Batiste Lassalle struck a weak shot in the 64th minute. Mugurel Zota didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Ground Control. In the 68th minute Amine Philibert shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Mugurel Zota saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. When Ground Control's Amine Philibert in the 71st minute got a chance for a shot 71st didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. In the 93rd minute the ball was on its way in behind Ground Control's goalkeeper Jérémie Millier, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. The supporters of Ground Control booed when Cercadinho was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 94 match minutes in a wonderful position. Valiente Venezian didn't get a good kick on the ball. William de Castro struck a weak shot in the 96th minute. Jérémie Millier didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Cercadinho. The referee blew his whistle, and the match came to a close. The players exchanged shirts and headed down the tunnel. The Ground Control fans cheered their team off the field, for while Cercadinho had put up a good fight, they were unable to come out of the game with any points to show for their effort.
