When the match clock showed 7 minutes, the score became 1-0 when Isidro Reno sped through Alexandria Team08's defense and sent away a curving shot that went into the net to the right of Panait Frânculescu. After 13 minutes, Kılıçalp Temizer mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Nankatsu SC and the Alexandria Team08 players grew even worse after the yellow card. Kılıçalp Temizer hit a great freekick 13 minutes into the match. Nankatsu SC's Arlindo Silva played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Zhou in the 15th minute of play. Alexandria Team08's Kılıç Özyuva got a good chance for a goal in the 18th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Zhou in the 21st managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Arlindo Silva saved Nankatsu SC from getting behind. 23 minutes into the match, Nankatsu SC's goal looked a bit too open when Basarab Panciu came free, but Arlindo Silva reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. 27 minutes into the match, Alexandria Team08's goal looked a bit too open when Isidro Reno came free, but Panait Frânculescu reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Isidro Reno in the 28th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Panait Frânculescu prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Isidro Reno's shot when he came free in front of the goal in the 28thth minute, Panait Frânculescu skillfully showed off with a save to what seemed to be an obvious goal. In the 31st minute Zhou shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Arlindo Silva saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. 37 minutes into the match, Alexandria Team08's goalkeeper Panait Frânculescu had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Edgardo Gombal. Isidro Reno kicked well hit freekick during the 38th minute of the match. An unexpectedly hard shot by Zhou in the 40th minute of play forced Nankatsu SC's goalkeeper Arlindo Silva to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. After a rather tough play, Alexandria Team08's Kılıç Özyuva got a free kick in the 45th minute. Kerim Saatçi hit a great freekick 47 minutes into the match. In the 48th minute of the match Kılıç Özyuva shot from a long distance. The ball could have gone into the goal to the right of the goalkeeper, but Arlindo Silva showed his good shape when he easily got hold of the ball.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Zhou stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. 64 minutes into the match, Nankatsu SC's goal looked a bit too open when Zhou came free, but Arlindo Silva reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 68th minute, Zhou got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Alexandria Team08's Marin Dică was substituted for Zhou. Kunter Sevgen hit a great freekick 80 minutes into the match. Panait Frânculescu came out of the goal in the 85th minute to try and stop a shot by Nankatsu SC's Isidro Reno. But to his dismay, Isidro Reno quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 2-0. 91 minutes into the match, Nankatsu SC's goalkeeper Arlindo Silva had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Gustaf Svanér. Arlindo Silva didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Marin Dică went, in the 95th minute, to the upper right corner, 2-1 was the resulting score. Alexandria Team08's supporters were dissatisfied at the end of the match because Nankatsu SC had won, even though Alexandria Team08 had held more of the ball.
