The Deus Ex Machina fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Jérémie Millier should have stopped the shot. The throw-in from Zheko Kraychev in the 16th minute of the game was unfortunally taken care of by Deus Ex Machina's Louison Vaille. If Amine Philibert had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 17th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. Amine Philiberts short, quick shot in the 21stth minute got Juan Benavides to make great effort and bar the ball away from getting in. Jérémie Millier showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Humberto Escobar, who was totally free with the ball in the 26th minute. Amine Philibert took the ball and in the 28 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Juan Benavides. Juan Benavides dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 1-1. Amine Philibert blasted a shot towards the goal in the 31st minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Juan Benavides having to make a save. 32 minutes into the game, Anton Karakevych was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Deus Ex Machina's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave ►Las Mercedes F.C◄ the free kick. Anton Karakevych kicked well hit freekick during the 32nd minute of the match. After 34 minutes of play, ►Las Mercedes F.C◄'s Humberto Escobar made it 1-2 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Jérémie Millier was left in no man's land by his defense there! Martín Ulloa fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 37th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Jérémie Millier having to interfere. An unexpectedly hard shot by Amine Philibert in the 40th minute of play forced ►Las Mercedes F.C◄'s goalkeeper Juan Benavides to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Juan Benavides took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Amine Philibert, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Juan Benavides made a fantastic save in the 45th minute, when Amine Philibert sent off a good shot on target. Even after changing tactics the home team jogged off the field with a 1-2 deficit. They would have to work harder if they wanted to turn things around in the second half.

The wind increased when Anton Karakevych made the kick off in the second half. Lorenzo Clavier kicked well hit freekick during the 51st minute of the match. A collision led to ►Las Mercedes F.C◄ getting a freekick after 54 minutes play. Miguel Pimentel hit a great ball. Anton Karakevych struck a weak shot in the 59th minute. Juan Benavides didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Deus Ex Machina. Martín Ulloa was really disappointed when he shot the ball just outside the right post instead of scoring a goal in the 62nd minute. ►Las Mercedes F.C◄'s manager could be seen on the sidelines shaking his head and muttering to himself as his team had just wasted another chance. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Miguel Pimentel during the 64th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. Anton Karakevych sent away a hard shot on goal in the 67th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. Deus Ex Machina's attacker deliberately struck the ball against an opponent to win a corner for his team. The corner was taken by Batiste Lassalle in the 73rd minute. When Deus Ex Machina's Jacques Greff in the 74th minute got a chance for a shot 74th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. In the 77th minute Anton Karakevych shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Juan Benavides saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. In the 77th minute, Anton Karakevych ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Juan Benavides was frozen by the shot and now it was 2-2. The audience was convinced that Anton Karakevych's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Juan Benavides was relentless in the 82nd minute of the game. After a rather tough play, Deus Ex Machina's Amine Philibert got a free kick in the 85th minute. If Anton Karakevych had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 91st minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. In the 91st minute Anton Karakevych shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Juan Benavides saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. The final whistle blew with the score still tied, and both teams left the pitch thinking about the missed chances that could have given their team the win.
