Alexandria Team08's Panait Frânculescu proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 9th minute of the match, managed to save Alexandria Team08 from getting a goal against them. Fabian Söderström made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Basarab Panciu in the 10th minute of play. Haithabu FC's Fabian Söderström played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Marin Dică in the 11th minute of play. Albano Sergi shot the penalty kick by force right in the crossbar. No goal. An unexpectedly hard shot by Marin Dică in the 20th minute of play forced Haithabu FC's goalkeeper Fabian Söderström to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Jacinto Torres kicked well hit freekick during the 21st minute of the match. In the 26th minute Faustão Abraão shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Fabian Söderström saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. The audience was convinced that Faustão Abraão's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Fabian Söderström was relentless in the 29th minute of the game. 0-1 became the score in the 33rd minute when Faustão Abraão elegantly shot the ball into goal just under the crossbar. Fabian Söderström took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Faustão Abraão, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In the 56th minute Conrad Vrolijcx shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Panait Frânculescu saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. In the 64thth minute of the game Marin Dică who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Haithabu FC's Fabian Söderström was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. The Alexandria Team08 fans' excitement grew in the 64th match minute when Alexandria Team08's Marin Dică looked to have a clear shot with the ball near the goal. The shot wasn't hard, but the ball still rolled over the goal line to make it 0-3 before the goalkeeper had a chance to intervene. Alexandria Team08 made a substitution. Péter Bánhegyi replaced Marin Dică. Jacinto Torres kicked well hit freekick during the 68th minute of the match. The supporters of Haithabu FC booed when Alexandria Team08 was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 74 match minutes in a wonderful position. Kılıç Özyuva didn't get a good kick on the ball. It was beautiful to see Haithabu FC's Simon Blomquist in action when he in the 83rd minute dribbled his way through a couple of opponents and the fired away a shot from almost standing still. First the ball seemed to get in, but turned out to be on the outside of the net. A great chance! A hard shot 86 in the game by Zhou from a close distance when the talented Fabian Söderström managed to make a qualified save. Haithabu FC's players were relieved. Simon Blomquist sent away a hard shot on goal in the 89th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. The Alexandria Team08 supporters could be heard counting down the last seconds of the match. They errupted in celebration when the whistle blew, knowing Alexandria Team08 would go home with victory in their luggage after a match that easily could have ended differently.
