The supporters of LUZ SS booed when ALIANZA 1901 was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 2 match minutes in a wonderful position. Richie Ason didn't get a good kick on the ball. Ciro Guedes could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 6th minute of the match, but Bieito Luzuriaga made a huge save. In the 15thth minute of the game Luis Escobar who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but LUZ SS's Kacper Tobiass was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. An unexpectedly hard shot by Alfredo Tomasini in the 19th minute of play forced LUZ SS's goalkeeper Kacper Tobiass to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. After 23 minutes of play, LUZ SS's Ciro Guedes made it 1-0 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Bieito Luzuriaga was left in no man's land by his defense there! With a little luck, ALIANZA 1901's Bieito Luzuriaga got control of the ball when Sidney Machado tried to sneak it across the goal line. The referee blew the whistle for a penalty in the 33rd minute of the game. One of LUZ SS:s players had nearly got his shirt torn off by an opponent while getting free in front of ALIANZA 1901:s goal. In the 35th minute there was a penalty for ALIANZA 1901. Luis Escobar stepped forward and shot the ball to the right of a diving Kacper Tobiass. 1-2. A collision led to ALIANZA 1901 getting a freekick after 40 minutes play. Orain Ambrosio hit a great ball. In the 41st minute, Kiatichai Nuntanamaneekul got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Sidney Machado recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 43rd minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. After a rather tough play, LUZ SS's Sidney Machado got a free kick in the 45th minute. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Luis Escobar in the 47th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Kacper Tobiass prevented the ball from getting in the gole.
Kacper Tobiass showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Alfredo Tomasini, who was totally free with the ball in the 51st minute. In the 52nd minute Alfredo Tomasini shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Kacper Tobiass saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. In the 52nd minute, Fabiano Reis hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Kacper Tobiass took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Alfredo Tomasini, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Kacper Tobiass acted impressively in front of the goal and made a superb save when he, in the 54th minute, took the ball on the long shot from Richie Ason. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Ciro Guedes in the 67th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Bieito Luzuriaga saved ALIANZA 1901 from getting behind. After a defensive mix-up in LUZ SS's zone, Luis Escobar stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Kacper Tobiass came out of the goal and Luis Escobar tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. LUZ SS's Ciro Guedes got a good chance for a goal in the 70th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. In the 71stth minute of the game Alfredo Tomasini who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but LUZ SS's Kacper Tobiass was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. In the 73rd minute the ball was on its way in behind ALIANZA 1901's goalkeeper Bieito Luzuriaga, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. Abel Coelho received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 77th minute. Bieito Luzuriaga tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. In the 80th minute Ciro Guedes shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Bieito Luzuriaga saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Kacper Tobiass was out of position in the 81 minute of play, and Alfredo Tomasini capitalized on the mistake with a soft shot into the goal. Alfredo Tomasini really showed his touch with that goal: 1-3. Luis Escobar sent away a hard shot on goal in the 83rd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. After 95 played minutes LUZ SS got a freekick which was hit by Fabiano Reis. The ALIANZA 1901 supporters could be heard counting down the last seconds of the match. They errupted in celebration when the whistle blew, knowing ALIANZA 1901 would go home with victory in their luggage after a match that easily could have ended differently.
