Santos Chinto hit a great freekick 64 minutes into the match. When Lucjan Sokol came up free with the goalie in the 66th minute, the 2kC Poznań fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Lucjan Sokol couldn't finish the play. Afonso Veloso came out of the goal and Lucjan Sokol tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Janusz Pusiak blasted a shot towards the goal in the 80th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Afonso Veloso having to make a save. During the 81st minute of the match Lucjan Sokol completely mistimed his tackle and brought down his opponent. The referee gave Lucjan Sokol a yellow card, his second in the match, which meant he could no longer take part in the game. Apolo Alvarez charged in rather forcefully in the 84th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Apolo Alvarez the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play.
