FC Drik's Ted Kobbeltvedt proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 12th minute of the match, managed to save FC Drik from getting a goal against them. In the 14th minute Cezary Czeszyk shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Ted Kobbeltvedt saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. With a little luck, FC Drik's Ted Kobbeltvedt got control of the ball when Angelo Jenaro tried to sneak it across the goal line. In the 26th minute, Ernst Barskov got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. 29 minutes into the match, FC Drik's goalkeeper Ted Kobbeltvedt had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Angelo Jenaro. Ted Kobbeltvedt made a fantastic save in the 33rd minute, when Angelo Jenaro sent off a good shot on target. Devlet İşcan charged in rather forcefully in the 34th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Devlet İşcan the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. After 34 played minutes FC Drik got a freekick which was hit by Devlet İşcan. FC Drik's Ted Kobbeltvedt proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 36th minute of the match, managed to save FC Drik from getting a goal against them. In the 37th minute, FC Catalonia's Han Wei Yuan dribbled the ball into the box and hit a shot with the outside of his foot, sending the keeper the wrong way. 1-0. It seemed to be an obvious goal in the 42nd minute, but Ted Kobbeltvedt got his fingers on the ball or the save, leaving FC Drik hanging dry this time.

After having played for 52 minutes, Cezary Czeszyk managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. FC Catalonia's supporters crossed their fingers, but Cezary Czeszyk was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. After a rather tough play, FC Drik's Devlet İşcan got a free kick in the 56th minute. When Damazy Wielkopolski came up free with the goalie in the 58th minute, the FC Catalonia fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Damazy Wielkopolski couldn't finish the play. In the 61st minute Arlindo Tinoco shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Ted Kobbeltvedt saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Cedrick Francoeur made an important save on a dangerous shot by Ernst Barskov in the 62nd minute. FC Catalonia's attacker deliberately struck the ball against an opponent to win a corner for his team. The corner was taken by Şinasi Ahioğlu in the 65th minute. Şinasi Ahioğlu made a great header on FC Catalonia's corner, it was just that FC Drik's Ted Kobbeltvedt managed to reach the ball for a save. Arlindo Tinoco fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 78th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Ted Kobbeltvedt having to interfere. In the 82nd minute, Arlindo Tinoco ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Ted Kobbeltvedt was frozen by the shot and now it was 2-0. Ted Kobbeltvedt made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Bogumil Byczewski in the 85th minute of play. After 86 minutes of play, FC Catalonia's Czeslaw Piczak made it 3-0 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Ted Kobbeltvedt was left in no man's land by his defense there! Czeslaw Piczak sent away a hard shot on goal in the 90th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Angelo Jenaro in the 93rd minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Ted Kobbeltvedt prevented the ball from getting in the gole. After some careless play in the FC Drik defense, Czeslaw Piczak kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Ted Kobbeltvedt. The FC Drik fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Ted Kobbeltvedt should have stopped the shot. There was no doubt that FC Catalonia were the better team. FC Catalonia's players enjoyed the ovations of the crowd after the victory.
