Léo Souto hit a great ball. In the 10th minute Léo Souto shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Afonso Veloso saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Claudinho Azevedo stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Alejandro Firmin's shot from short distance in the 12th minute. When Cambotinha EC's Léo Souto in the 16th minute got a chance for a shot 16th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye Alvi Boton's goalie prevented a goal. An unexpected shot in the 17th minute by Santos Chinto got the crowd on their feet, but to their dismay it went out on the left side. The Cambotinha EC fans' excitement grew in the 24th match minute when Cambotinha EC's Léo Souto looked to have a clear shot with the ball near the goal. The shot wasn't hard, but the ball still rolled over the goal line to make it 0-1 before the goalkeeper had a chance to intervene. Claudinho Azevedo made a fantastic save in the 26th minute, when Santos Chinto sent off a good shot on target. With 28 minutes on the clock, Adolfo Cordarrol commited a dangerous tackle. The referee had no choice but to show him the red card. In a very dangerous position, a player in Alvi Boton fell when an opponent tried to get the ball from him in the 27th minute. Penalty! The referee gave Cambotinha EC a penalty, 29 minutes into the game. The penalty shot was made by Falcão Novaes, who made a well placed shot into the net to the right of Alvi Boton's Afonso Veloso. 0-2. 33 minutes into the match, Cambotinha EC's goalkeeper Claudinho Azevedo had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Enrique Henry. The corner led Alvi Boton's Apolo Alvarez to fire away a dangerous shot which Claudinho Azevedo despite some difficulties managed to get hold on the ball. Afonso Veloso made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Doğaner Doğu in the 39th minute of play. When Douglas Paulista came up free with the goalie in the 43rd minute, the Cambotinha EC fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Douglas Paulista couldn't finish the play. In the 45th minute the ball was on its way in behind Cambotinha EC's goalkeeper Claudinho Azevedo, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. Afonso Veloso took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Doğaner Doğu, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. The crowd was extremely unhappy with the home team's performance in the first half. They were losing 0-2.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Léo Souto made a kick off. In the 55th minute Santos Chinto shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Claudinho Azevedo saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Afonso Veloso was out of position in the 58 minute of play, and Douglas Paulista capitalized on the mistake with a soft shot into the goal. Douglas Paulista really showed his touch with that goal: 0-3. Afonso Veloso showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Léo Souto, who was totally free with the ball in the 60th minute. Ivan Cuervo kicked well hit freekick during the 61st minute of the match. The supporters of Cambotinha EC booed when Alvi Boton was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 63 match minutes in a wonderful position. Ivan Cuervo didn't get a good kick on the ball. Falcão Novaes might have been able to make a better finish in the 63rd minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Afonso Veloso. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Falcão Novaes ran back to his position shaking his head. 63 minutes into the match, Alvi Boton's goal looked a bit too open when Falcão Novaes came free, but Afonso Veloso reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 65th minute of the match, Doğaner Doğu got a very nice opportunity to score, but Afonso Veloso was well-placed and pushed the ball away from the goal at the left post. With a little luck, Alvi Boton's Afonso Veloso got control of the ball when Doğaner Doğu tried to sneak it across the goal line. 68 minutes into the match, Léo Souto notched a goal, 0-4, to the right of Alvi Boton's Afonso Veloso. In the 82nd minute the ball was on its way in behind Alvi Boton's goalkeeper Afonso Veloso, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. Alvi Boton's Afonso Veloso proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 83rd minute of the match, managed to save Alvi Boton from getting a goal against them.
