The audience thought a goal was coming when Angelo Jenaro got free with Afonso Veloso in the 34th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Bogumil Byczewski struck a weak shot in the 35th minute. Afonso Veloso didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for FC Catalonia. Afonso Veloso took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Angelo Jenaro, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Han Wei Yuan was the one to do the kick off. If Cezary Czeszyk had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 56th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Alvi Boton's Afonso Veloso played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Angelo Jenaro in the 60th minute of play. Afonso Veloso showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Angelo Jenaro, who was totally free with the ball in the 62nd minute. An unexpectedly hard shot by Han Wei Yuan in the 62nd minute of play forced Alvi Boton's goalkeeper Afonso Veloso to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Afonso Veloso showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Arlindo Tinoco in the 71st minute of the match. Han Wei Yuan sent away a hard shot on goal in the 84th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. In the 86th minute, Angelo Jenaro ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Afonso Veloso was frozen by the shot and now it was 4-1. An unexpectedly hard shot by Han Wei Yuan in the 88th minute of play forced Alvi Boton's goalkeeper Afonso Veloso to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. 89 minutes into the match, Bogumil Byczewski notched a goal, 5-1, to the right of Alvi Boton's Afonso Veloso. Afonso Veloso was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. A collision led to Alvi Boton getting a freekick after 92 minutes play.
