Alvi Boton's supporters crossed their fingers, but Ðura Snob was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. If Jalen Brunson had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 6th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. After 8 minutes, Anibal Lluciano mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Alvi Boton and the FC Drik players grew even worse after the yellow card. In the 8th minute, one of Alvi Boton:s players had the ball in front of the goal but got pushed and fell. The referee felt it was an obvious case and blew a penalty for Alvi Boton. 10 minutes had been played when some careless play by Alvi Boton's defense caused the ball to cross the line for a corner. Willy Reitoft was slow to take the kick. During this time FC Drik's players had a chance to rest. In the 12th minute Hemming Glykær shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Nereo Jurgi saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. In the 18th minute, Alvi Boton's Javier Raymon dribbled the ball into the box and hit a shot with the outside of his foot, sending the keeper the wrong way. 1-0. An unexpectedly hard shot by Ernst Barskov in the 24th minute of play forced Alvi Boton's goalkeeper Nereo Jurgi to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Hemming Glykær sent away a hard shot on goal in the 31st minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Jalen Brunson during the 34th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. In the 34th minute, Jalen Brunson hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Ted Kobbeltvedt made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Javier Raymon in the 36th minute of play. A collision led to FC Drik getting a freekick after 38 minutes play. Ayvaz Taşkesen hit a great ball. FC Drik's Ted Kobbeltvedt proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 46th minute of the match, managed to save FC Drik from getting a goal against them.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Ernst Barskov was the one to do the kick off. Hemming Glykær recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 51st minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Nereo Jurgi made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Hemming Glykær in the 54th minute of play. Denis Schubring struck a weak shot in the 56th minute. Nereo Jurgi didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for FC Drik. Ernst Barskov hit a great freekick 58 minutes into the match. After a rather tough play, Alvi Boton's Pastor Celipe got a free kick in the 65th minute. Alvi Boton's Anibal Lluciano got his second yellow card of the match in the 66th minute. The referee ordered Anibal Lluciano off the ground. A collision led to Alvi Boton getting a freekick after 67 minutes play. Anibal Lluciano hit a great ball. Enzo Bermudo kicked well hit freekick during the 73rd minute of the match. Alvi Boton's Lázaro Vasco was substituted for Jalen Brunson. Alvi Boton made a substitution. Clodoveo Galoer replaced Enzo Bermudo. Hemming Glykær recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 76th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Everyone was convinced a goal was close when FC Drik's Hemming Glykær in the 76th minute lifted the ball towards the upper right corner, but Nereo Jurgi was perfectly placed and prevented a goal for Alvi Boton through an amazing save. Gilberto Ted's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Ted Kobbeltvedt read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 81st minute of play. Pastor Celipe scored 2-0 in the 85th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Ted Kobbeltvedt, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. The supporters of FC Drik booed when Alvi Boton was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 88 match minutes in a wonderful position. Timoteo Iaki didn't get a good kick on the ball. After a defensive mix-up in Alvi Boton's zone, Calvin Townsley stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Nereo Jurgi came out of the goal and Calvin Townsley tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. The supporters of FC Drik booed when Alvi Boton was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 95 match minutes in a wonderful position. Timoteo Iaki didn't get a good kick on the ball. Alvi Boton's supporters were delighted with their team's performance and swarmed onto the pitch at the end of the match to celebrate the victory with the players.
