Spectators: 7507 (Terracing: 5631, Seating: 1726, VIP seats: 150) Dark clouds were building up when the players entered the field. None of the them looked very eager to play. Aírton Faria started the match with the kick off. In the 4th minute the ball was on its way in behind Alvi Boton's goalkeeper Eloy Gabirel, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. Falcão Novaes sent away a hard shot on goal in the 5th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Eloy Gabirel made a fantastic save in the 7th minute, when Falcão Novaes sent off a good shot on target. Falcão Novaes fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 8th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Eloy Gabirel having to interfere. Aírton Faria recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 16th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Falcão Novaes scored 1-0 in the 18th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Eloy Gabirel, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. Eloy Gabirel made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Falcão Novaes in the 20th minute of play. Alvi Boton's Eloy Gabirel played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Douglas Paulista in the 21st minute of play. Douglas Paulista received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 23rd minute. Eloy Gabirel tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. After having played for 25 minutes, Falcão Novaes managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Cambotinha EC's supporters crossed their fingers, but Falcão Novaes was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. In the 27th minute the ball was on its way in behind Alvi Boton's goalkeeper Eloy Gabirel, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. After a rather tough play, Alvi Boton's Enrique Henry got a free kick in the 29th minute. Falcão Novaes took the ball and in the 31 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Eloy Gabirel. Eloy Gabirel dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 2-0. Doğaner Doğu blasted a shot towards the goal in the 41st minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Eloy Gabirel having to make a save. Doğaner Doğu received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 42nd minute. Eloy Gabirel tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. 43 minutes into the game, Falcão Novaes was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Cambotinha EC's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Alvi Boton the free kick. After 43 played minutes Cambotinha EC got a freekick which was hit by Falcão Novaes. Eloy Gabirel took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Douglas Paulista, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Af the end of the first half the score was 2-0. The first half had gone as expected for the home team.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Santos Chinto stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. Eloy Gabirel made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Aírton Faria in the 53rd minute of play. In the 61st match minute, Alvi Boton was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Salvador Felipillo to maneuver through the defense. In the 62nd minute, Alejandro Firmin hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. After 64 played minutes Cambotinha EC got a freekick which was hit by Aírton Faria. In the 68th minute, Falcão Novaes got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Alvi Boton's Eloy Gabirel played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Aírton Faria in the 70th minute of play. If Falcão Novaes had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 73rd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. An unexpectedly hard shot by Doğaner Doğu in the 76th minute of play forced Alvi Boton's goalkeeper Eloy Gabirel to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. After a rather tough play, Cambotinha EC's Aírton Faria got a free kick in the 77th minute. Alvi Boton's Eloy Gabirel played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Douglas Paulista in the 78th minute of play. Douglas Paulista took the ball and in the 84 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Eloy Gabirel. Eloy Gabirel dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 4-0. Alvi Boton's Eloy Gabirel played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Falcão Novaes in the 87th minute of play. In the 87th minute, Falcão Novaes made a precise shot to the right of Eloy Gabirel. Alvi Boton's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 5-0. After a rather tough play, Cambotinha EC's Douglas Paulista got a free kick in the 92nd minute. Salvador Felipillo charged in rather forcefully in the 95th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Salvador Felipillo the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. After 95 played minutes Alvi Boton got a freekick which was hit by Salvador Felipillo. Cambotinha EC walked away with a well-earned victory that was much celebrated by the crowd.
