David De Gea made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Christos Romanakoglou in the 8th minute of play. David De Gea showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Xosé Lim, who was totally free with the ball in the 14th minute. Olympiacos FC's Olívio Correia proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 18th minute of the match, managed to save Olympiacos FC from getting a goal against them. Themos Proedropoulos blasted a shot towards the goal in the 19th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without David De Gea having to make a save. The audience thought a goal was coming when Kálmán Kiss got free with Olívio Correia in the 20th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. The crowd rose to their feet as Dombiratosi Football Club's Kálmán Kiss slotted home a wonderful shot that went in to the left of Olívio Correia. That made the score 1-0 after 22 minutes of play. András Horváth could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 33rd minute of the match, but Olívio Correia made a huge save. An unexpectedly hard shot by András Horváth in the 37th minute of play forced Olympiacos FC's goalkeeper Olívio Correia to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Olívio Correia made an important save on a dangerous shot by Kálmán Kiss in the 39th minute. Themos Proedropoulos's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but David De Gea read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 40th minute of play. 41 minutes into the game, Krisztián Kenesei cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 2-0. Olívio Correia was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. 45 minutes into the match, Olympiacos FC's Themos Proedropoulos sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that David De Gea narrowly saved just below the crossbar.

54 minutes into the game, Xosé Lim was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Olympiacos FC's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Dombiratosi Football Club the free kick. The supporters of Dombiratosi Football Club booed when Olympiacos FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 54 match minutes in a wonderful position. Xosé Lim didn't get a good kick on the ball. Olívio Correia came out of the goal in the 57th minute to try and stop a shot by Dombiratosi Football Club's András Horváth. But to his dismay, András Horváth quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 3-1. 63 minutes into the match, Olympiacos FC's Themos Proedropoulos sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that David De Gea narrowly saved just below the crossbar. Themos Proedropoulos in the 65thth minute had a little luck and got a chance for a shot in front of the goal. Without hesitation aimed to the right of David De Gea, who managed to lunge to the right direction and made a save. An unexpectedly hard shot by Tamás Varsányi in the 67th minute of play forced Olympiacos FC's goalkeeper Olívio Correia to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 74th minute Themos Proedropoulos shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but David De Gea saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. In the 77th minute, Olivér Kereki hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. In the 78th minute the ball was on its way in behind Dombiratosi Football Club's goalkeeper David De Gea, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. A collision led to Dombiratosi Football Club getting a freekick after 81 minutes play. Olivér Kereki hit a great ball. Olympiacos FC's Olívio Correia played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Tamás Varsányi in the 85th minute of play. An unexpectedly hard shot by Kálmán Kiss in the 91st minute of play forced Olympiacos FC's goalkeeper Olívio Correia to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 95th minute, Olympiacos FC's Themos Proedropoulos ran free of his marker and smoothly shot the ball into the goal behind David De Gea. David De Gea yelled at his defense, as they had left him out to dry. 3-3.
