Spectators: 7839 (Terracing: 5881, Seating: 1802, VIP seats: 156) The sun was shining, the grass was green and the audience cheered when Anselmo Bakar got the match started through his kick off. With a little luck, Nova Iguaçu MZFC's Mickaël Maris got control of the ball when Berat Haliç tried to sneak it across the goal line. In the 5th minute, Horaţiu Măcrinici ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. J.J J.J. was frozen by the shot and now it was 0-1. J.J J.J. made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Ladislao Gerazan in the 8th minute of play. Mickaël Maris came out of the goal in the 10th minute to try and stop a shot by Sc Ajax Hirtenberg's Henk Horneber. But to his dismay, Henk Horneber quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 1-1. Mickaël Maris took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Henk Horneber, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. 18 minutes into the match, Sc Ajax Hirtenberg's goal looked a bit too open when Ladislao Gerazan came free, but J.J J.J. reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Nova Iguaçu MZFC's Mickaël Maris played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Anselmo Bakar in the 21st minute of play. In the 28th minute, Ladislao Gerazan made a precise shot to the right of J.J J.J.. Sc Ajax Hirtenberg's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 1-2. Mickaël Maris made an important save on a dangerous shot by Henk Horneber in the 30th minute. The supporters of Sc Ajax Hirtenberg booed when Nova Iguaçu MZFC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 32 match minutes in a wonderful position. Zézinho Veloso didn't get a good kick on the ball. J.J J.J. showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Ladislao Gerazan in the 38th minute of the match. Nova Iguaçu MZFC's defense didn't have a chance, in the 44th minute, when Anselmo Bakar scored to the left of an out of position Mickaël Maris, making the score, 2-2. After the first half the score was level. The break gave the players a chance to catch their breath, whilst the managers went over the tactics with them again.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Horaţiu Măcrinici made a kick off. Ladislao Gerazan could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 52nd minute of the match, but J.J J.J. made a huge save. J.J J.J. made a fantastic save in the 58th minute, when Ladislao Gerazan sent off a good shot on target. Mickaël Maris showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Timo Pezel in the 67th minute of the match. In the 67thth minute of the game Anselmo Bakar who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Nova Iguaçu MZFC's Mickaël Maris was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. A collision led to Nova Iguaçu MZFC getting a freekick after 70 minutes play. Zézinho Veloso hit a great ball. 73 minutes into the match, Sc Ajax Hirtenberg's goal looked a bit too open when Zézinho Veloso came free, but J.J J.J. reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 76th minute, Zézinho Veloso reached a very good position and smashed the ball with a huge effort into the net, just to the left of J.J J.J.. The goal made the score 2-3. Sc Ajax Hirtenberg's J.J J.J. played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Ladislao Gerazan in the 80th minute of play. The audience thought a goal was coming when Zézinho Veloso got free with J.J J.J. in the 81st minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Manfredo Vale was astounded when the referee showed him the red card after a seemingly innocent challenge, 82 minutes into the match. In a very dangerous position, a player in Nova Iguaçu MZFC fell when an opponent tried to get the ball from him in the 82nd minute. Penalty! Mickaël Maris went to the wrong direction when Anselmo Bakar was taking care of the penalty kick which however missed the goal. In the 87th minute Henk Horneber suffered a thigh injury and had to be helped off the field. 87 minutes into the game, Luiz Fábio de Medeiros was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Nova Iguaçu MZFC's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Sc Ajax Hirtenberg the free kick. After a rather tough play, Nova Iguaçu MZFC's Luiz Fábio de Medeiros got a free kick in the 88th minute. Magnus Wollberg recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 90th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. In the 90th minute, Timo Pezel hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. After 97 played minutes Sc Ajax Hirtenberg got a freekick which was hit by Philipp-Marc Ballik. Nova Iguaçu MZFC's supporters were very happy and cheered loudly because their team had won after a very close match.
