Emanuel Badea was slow to take the kick. During this time Ugonotti's players had a chance to rest. After 11 minutes of play, Ugonotti's Carolo Camaño made it 0-1 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Juan Giraldo was left in no man's land by his defense there! When Forever Tango's Omar Santo in the 18th minute got a chance for a shot 18th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye Ugonotti's goalie prevented a goal. After some careless play in the Forever Tango defense, Carolo Camaño kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Juan Giraldo. The Forever Tango fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Juan Giraldo should have stopped the shot. Juan Giraldo stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Carolo Camaño's shot from short distance in the 22nd minute. 23 minutes into the game, Forever Tango's Juan Raúl Amuchástegui nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Adriano De Carolis made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 1-2. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Carolo Camaño in the 26th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Juan Giraldo prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Juan Giraldo came out of the goal in the 30th minute to try and stop a shot by Ugonotti's Hugo Boss. But to his dismay, Hugo Boss quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 1-3. 41 minutes into the game, Emanuel Badea was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Ugonotti's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Forever Tango the free kick. In the 41st minute, Emanuel Badea hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. The crowd was extremely unhappy with the home team's performance in the first half. They were losing 1-3.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Carolo Camaño to make the kick off. Vinícius Juniors could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 51st minute of the match, but Juan Giraldo made a huge save. Ugonotti's attacker deliberately struck the ball against an opponent to win a corner for his team. The corner was taken by Emanuel Badea in the 54th minute. A well-hit corner resulted in Emanuele Cicchinelli heading the ball towards the goal, but to his dismay he misdirected it and missed the goal completely. The supporters of Ugonotti booed when Forever Tango was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 57 match minutes in a wonderful position. Sixto Gaxan didn't get a good kick on the ball. The referee blew the final whistle, and the away crowd roared, having watched Ugonotti eke out a victory against a very well matched opponent.
