Leonides Rosio's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Bilbo Arzube read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 3rd minute of play. Lester Serre showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Rosendo Gervaso, who was totally free with the ball in the 5th minute. 7 minutes into the match, San Lorenzo de Sarandi's goal looked a bit too open when Leopoldo Perez came free, but Lester Serre reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Oséias Pontes made in the 8th minute of the game a throw-in that took a bad bounce and was taken care of by San Lorenzo de Sarandi's Vasco Olarticoechea. Bilbo Arzube showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Leonides Rosio, who was totally free with the ball in the 9th minute. Lester Serre was a little too slow when Nilson Leite got a fine hit on the ball which went right into the goal in the 11th minute. The score was now 1-0. San Lorenzo de Sarandi's Lester Serre proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 15th minute of the match, managed to save San Lorenzo de Sarandi from getting a goal against them. An unexpectedly hard shot by Elias Honrio in the 17th minute of play forced Juventus EC's goalkeeper Bilbo Arzube to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Lester Serre made an important save on a dangerous shot by Nilson Leite in the 19th minute. With a little luck, San Lorenzo de Sarandi's Lester Serre got control of the ball when Fran Yeste tried to sneak it across the goal line. Oséias Pontes made in the 24th minute of the game a throw-in that took a bad bounce and was taken care of by San Lorenzo de Sarandi's Vasco Olarticoechea. 25 minutes into the match, San Lorenzo de Sarandi's Leonides Rosio sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Bilbo Arzube narrowly saved just below the crossbar. 29 minutes into the match, Juventus EC's goal looked a bit too open when Leonides Rosio came free, but Bilbo Arzube reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. After 29 minutes of play, San Lorenzo de Sarandi's Leonides Rosio made it 1-1 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Bilbo Arzube was left in no man's land by his defense there! Lester Serre made a fantastic save in the 32nd minute, when Nilson Leite sent off a good shot on target. Bilbo Arzube showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Elias Honrio in the 33rd minute of the match. After 37 played minutes Juventus EC got a freekick which was hit by Oséias Pontes. Lester Serre made an important save on a dangerous shot by Nilson Leite in the 42nd minute. Nilson Leite received a nice pass, split the defenders, and ran untouched towards the goal. Lester Serre came out and tried to block the shot, but Nilson Leite slotted it home off the left post making it 3-1 in the 42nd minute. A sloppy throw-in by Elo Altoft in the 47th minute of the game went astray and was snapped up by San Lorenzo de Sarandi's Vasco Olarticoechea. When the referee blew for the end of the half the home team players were clearly happier, as they went in to the break leading 3-1.

Juventus EC made a substitution. Luís Ramalho replaced Gabriel Peres. The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Leonides Rosio was the one to do the kick off. Elias Honrio recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 56th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. San Lorenzo de Sarandi's Lorenzo Jerrold was substituted for Leonides Rosio. Bilbo Arzube made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Ivan Errando in the 64th minute of play. With a little luck, Juventus EC's Bilbo Arzube got control of the ball when Lorenzo Jerrold tried to sneak it across the goal line. If Elias Honrio had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 72nd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. After 77 played minutes San Lorenzo de Sarandi got a freekick which was hit by Anastasio Gorbea. In the 78th minute Walmyr Loyola shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Lester Serre saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Lester Serre made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Walmyr Loyola in the 80th minute of play. In the 85thth minute of the game Walmyr Loyola who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but San Lorenzo de Sarandi's Lester Serre was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. Magno de Moraes hit a great freekick 93 minutes into the match. After a rather tough play, San Lorenzo de Sarandi's Prospero Mergildo got a free kick in the 97th minute. Lester Serre didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Walmyr Loyola went, in the 99th minute, to the upper right corner, 4-1 was the resulting score. San Lorenzo de Sarandi's players left the field with heads hung low after losing a match that had been finely balanced throughout.
