After 14 played minutes Forever Tango got a freekick which was hit by Luisito Senio. The supporters of Club Olimpia booed when Forever Tango was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 25 match minutes in a wonderful position. Bernardo Veronica didn't get a good kick on the ball. In the 82nd minute, Nelson Haedo left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Club Olimpia fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 2-2. Cui Zheng struck a weak shot in the 92nd minute. Alfredo Aguilar didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Forever Tango. 94 minutes into the match, Nelson Haedo had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Juan Giraldo. Forever Tango's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Nelson Haedo was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 3-2.
