In the 3rd minute Flavio Fernandes shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Andres Ekhi saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. After 13 minutes Vamo A Calmarno's defender was forced to head the ball over the line for a corner. It was Doron Bantz who took care of the corner kick. A nice corner shot did that Doron Bantz got away a dangerous shot. Despite this Bart Basson quite easily got ahold of the ball to make the save. After 16 minutes of play, Vamo A Calmarno's Flavio Fernandes made it 0-1 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Andres Ekhi was left in no man's land by his defense there! An unexpectedly hard shot by Eusebio Hori in the 26th minute of play forced Vamo A Calmarno's goalkeeper Bart Basson to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 26th minute, Eusebio Hori ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Bart Basson was frozen by the shot and now it was 1-1. Eusebio Hori fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 40th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Bart Basson having to interfere. Doyle Quenneville hit a great freekick 45 minutes into the match. In the 46th minute of the match, Eusebio Hori tried to roll the ball into the goal by the right post, but Bart Basson saw his intentions and got control of the ball before it passed the line. After a very even first half the match was still tied. The players went to their respective dressing rooms to discuss the tactics for the second half.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Eusebio Hori to strike the kick off in the second half. In the 52nd minute, Doyle Quenneville hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Eusebio Hori in the 53rd minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Bart Basson prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Vamo A Calmarno's Venancio Carretero managed, thanks to a brazen rush, stole the ball on a throw-in made by Rubens Neves in the 55 minute of the game. 57 minutes into the match, Vamo A Calmarno's Flavio Fernandes sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Andres Ekhi narrowly saved just below the crossbar. If Reinaldo Palmeira had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 62nd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. An unexpectedly hard shot by Flavio Fernandes in the 65th minute of play forced Ricart Futebol Clube's goalkeeper Andres Ekhi to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 86th minute, Alessandro Cannata hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Vamo A Calmarno's Justino Rainerio was substituted for Flavio Fernandes. In the 87th match minute, Vamo A Calmarno was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Alessandro Cannata to maneuver through the defense. After 88 played minutes, Ricart Futebol Clube's Doron Bantz shot from a long distance, and at first it looked like the ball was going into the goal, but the goalkeeper Bart Basson came through and got his fingers on the ball before it flew over the goal line. He then quickly gripped the ball tighter before the forwards in Ricart Futebol Clube reached it. The supporters of Vamo A Calmarno booed when Ricart Futebol Clube was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 90 match minutes in a wonderful position. Vlad Geamănu didn't get a good kick on the ball. 96 minutes into the game, Vamo A Calmarno's Justino Rainerio nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Andres Ekhi made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 1-2. The Vamo A Calmarno players were relieved to hear the final whistle blow to end the match. The away crowd was happy to see their team win after a very tight game.
