César Lucas fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 8th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without 忠 杨浩勇 having to interfere. 12 minutes into the match, Matanza and Steelers's goal looked a bit too open when 龚悦振 came free, but Renan Mendes reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Matanza and Steelers's Renan Mendes played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Ulaş Haaland in the 20th minute of play. An unexpectedly hard shot by Jimmy Örtendal in the 21st minute of play forced 【FLY】Borussia Dortmund's goalkeeper 忠 杨浩勇 to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Jimmy Örtendal received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 24th minute. 忠 杨浩勇 tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. The audience thought a goal was coming when Honorato Ovando got free with Renan Mendes in the 35th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. If Jimmy Örtendal had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 37th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Renan Mendes showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Ulaş Haaland in the 38th minute of the match. In the 40th minute 【FLY】Borussia Dortmund were awarded a corner. Valdemar Roriz went to the cornerflag to take it. A collision led to 【FLY】Borussia Dortmund getting a freekick after 40 minutes play. Yacoob Yu hit a great ball. Renan Mendes came out of the goal in the 46th minute to try and stop a shot by 【FLY】Borussia Dortmund's Ulaş Haaland. But to his dismay, Ulaş Haaland quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 2-0. All the noise was coming from the home fans when the whistle went for half-time. The home team had fought hardest to put themselves in a deserved lead.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Ulrico Herzog was the one to do the kick off.
