After a defensive mix-up in Alexandrie CF's zone, Jimmy Örtendal stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Matthias Brandin came out of the goal and Jimmy Örtendal tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Matthias Brandin stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Ulrico Herzog's shot from short distance in the 6th minute. Jacek Limanowski kicked well hit freekick during the 7th minute of the match. Matanza and Steelers's Renan Mendes proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 8th minute of the match, managed to save Matanza and Steelers from getting a goal against them. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Ulrico Herzog in the 9th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Matthias Brandin saved Alexandrie CF from getting behind. When Eleuterio Cesario fell near the penalty area in the 11th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Alexandrie CF's protests and gave Eleuterio Cesario a yellow card for diving instead. A collision led to Alexandrie CF getting a freekick after 11 minutes play. Eleuterio Cesario hit a great ball. Matthias Brandin showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Ulrico Herzog in the 15th minute of the match. In the 15th minute, Ulrico Herzog made a precise shot to the right of Matthias Brandin. Alexandrie CF's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 0-1. If Ulrico Herzog had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 21st minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. 25 minutes into the match, Matanza and Steelers's goal looked a bit too open when Francisco Conceicão came free, but Renan Mendes reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Renan Mendes made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Francisco Conceicão in the 27th minute of play. After a rather tough play, Matanza and Steelers's César Lucas got a free kick in the 28th minute. Through an outstanding action, after 29 minutes, Renan Mendes successfully got his hands on the ball before it slid into the goal at the right post. The corner ended in Ruslan Tikhonov almost managing to get the ball behind the net, but Matanza and Steelers's Renan Mendes did a great save. Matthias Brandin made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from César Lucas in the 34th minute of play. In the 39th minute, Jimmy Örtendal made a precise shot to the right of Matthias Brandin. Alexandrie CF's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 0-2. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Virgil Zgrăbunţa during the 44th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. In the 44th match minute, Matanza and Steelers was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Virgil Zgrăbunţa to maneuver through the defense. Jose Balvín could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 47th minute of the match, but Renan Mendes made a huge save. The Alexandrie CF players were disheartened as they walked off the pitch after the first half. Matanza and Steelers were winning 0-2.

Alexandrie CF's Francisco Conceicão got a good chance for a goal in the 55th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Renan Mendes showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Francisco Conceicão, who was totally free with the ball in the 63rd minute. Jimmy Örtendal's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Matthias Brandin read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 73rd minute of play. With a little luck, Alexandrie CF's Matthias Brandin got control of the ball when Ulrico Herzog tried to sneak it across the goal line. After 79 minutes of play, Alexandrie CF's Ruslan Tikhonov made it 1-3 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Renan Mendes was left in no man's land by his defense there! Renan Mendes made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Ruslan Tikhonov in the 82nd minute of play. Ulrico Herzog struck a weak shot in the 84th minute. Matthias Brandin didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Matanza and Steelers. 87 minutes into the match, Matanza and Steelers's goal looked a bit too open when Jose Balvín came free, but Renan Mendes reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Matanza and Steelers's Renan Mendes played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Ruslan Tikhonov in the 89th minute of play. 95 minutes into the match, Alexandrie CF's goalkeeper Matthias Brandin had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Wiliam Peixoto. The referee blew the final whistle, and the away crowd roared, having watched Matanza and Steelers eke out a victory against a very well matched opponent.
