The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. An unexpectedly hard shot by Costin Duca in the 3rd minute of play forced Matanza and Steelers's goalkeeper Renan Mendes to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Matanza and Steelers's Renan Mendes played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Fan Xing Zhou in the 6th minute of play. Ruperto Maria showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from César Lucas in the 13th minute of the match. 13 minutes into the match, Salmuera CP's goal looked a bit too open when César Lucas came free, but Ruperto Maria reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. After a rather tough play, Matanza and Steelers's César Lucas got a free kick in the 15th minute. The supporters of Matanza and Steelers booed when Salmuera CP was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 16 match minutes in a wonderful position. Morten Strømnes didn't get a good kick on the ball. Renan Mendes made an important save on a dangerous shot by Pablo Martinez in the 19th minute. Pablo Martinez could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 19th minute of the match, but Renan Mendes made a huge save. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Costin Duca in the 54th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Renan Mendes saved Matanza and Steelers from getting behind. After 54th play minutes Costin Duca shot 2-0, a short shot which went by Renan Mendes and just under the crossbar into goal. Renan Mendes showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Pablo Martinez, who was totally free with the ball in the 60th minute. Matanza and Steelers's Renan Mendes played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Hồ Kyhn in the 61st minute of play. In the 62nd minute of the match Salmuera CP got a corner. Matanza and Steelers's goalie ran out to the linesman to protest the call, but the linesman resolutely pointed his flag at the cornerflag. Torcuato Herrero ran over to the corner to take the kick. Renan Mendes showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Hồ Kyhn in the 64th minute of the match. 68 minutes into the match, Salmuera CP's goal looked a bit too open when Leysus Oktavianus came free, but Ruperto Maria reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. 72 minutes into the match, Salmuera CP's goalkeeper Ruperto Maria had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by César Lucas. After 84 played minutes Matanza and Steelers got a freekick which was hit by Renan Correia. Pablo Martinez's late challenge caught a Matanza and Steelers's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card.
