The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. Aleksander Käller hit a great freekick 2 minutes into the match. Magne Ahlberg was in exellent shape and made a fantastic save when he, in the 3rd minute of the match, managed to get hold of the ball after a long shot from Gregory Krause. In the 6th minute, Brookes Crane fired away a killer shot towards the goal that, to the delight of Magne Ahlberg, passed just outside the right post. Erlend Sørby showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Zebastian Lindman, who was totally free with the ball in the 7th minute. After 8 minutes Leeton United FC's defender was forced to head the ball over the line for a corner. It was Aron Apelqvist who took care of the corner kick. The corner ended in Ian Boberg almost managing to get the ball behind the net, but Leeton United FC's Erlend Sørby did a great save. 11 minutes into the match, Zebastian Lindman notched a goal, 0-1, to the right of Leeton United FC's Erlend Sørby. Erlend Sørby was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. Guldsmedshyttan IK's attentive Evert Pettersson managed to snatch the ball when Bjorn Gaffigan made a throw-in in the 15th minute of the game. Leeton United FC's Erlend Sørby played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Zebastian Lindman in the 16th minute of play. 17 minutes into the game, Bjorn Gaffigan threw the ball into play from the sideline. Guldsmedshyttan IK's Evert Pettersson quickly snatched the ball and retained possesion. Zebastian Lindman scored 0-2 in the 22nd match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Erlend Sørby, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. Magne Ahlberg made a fantastic save in the 30th minute, when Brookes Crane sent off a good shot on target. Through an outstanding action, after 33 minutes, Magne Ahlberg successfully got his hands on the ball before it slid into the goal at the right post. Erlend Sørby came out of the goal in the 35th minute to try and stop a shot by Guldsmedshyttan IK's Zebastian Lindman. But to his dismay, Zebastian Lindman quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 0-3. In the 40th minute of the match, Clay Heath tried to roll the ball into the goal by the right post, but Magne Ahlberg saw his intentions and got control of the ball before it passed the line. In the 40th minute, Clay Heath ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Magne Ahlberg was frozen by the shot and now it was 1-3. Even after changing tactics the home team jogged off the field with a 1-3 deficit. They would have to work harder if they wanted to turn things around in the second half.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Zebastian Lindman stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. 52 minutes into the game, Paz Gledden was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Leeton United FC's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Guldsmedshyttan IK the free kick. Magne Ahlberg showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Paz Gledden, who was totally free with the ball in the 58th minute. Guldsmedshyttan IK's Magne Ahlberg played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Carver Tencer in the 61st minute of play. 65 minutes into the match, Guldsmedshyttan IK's Måns Hägglund sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Erlend Sørby narrowly saved just below the crossbar. Erlend Sørby stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Måns Hägglund's shot from short distance in the 74th minute. Guldsmedshyttan IK were awarded a corner in the 76th minute after Leeton United FC's defender lost control of the ball, allowing it to roll out over the line. Aron Apelqvist took the corner. A nice corner shot did that Aron Apelqvist got away a dangerous shot. Despite this Erlend Sørby quite easily got ahold of the ball to make the save. The crowd rose to their feet as Måns Hägglund kicked a wonderful shot that went in to the left of a diving Erlend Sørby. That made the score 1-4 in the 77 minute of play. Magne Ahlberg showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Clay Heath in the 81st minute of the match. 90 minutes in the game Bjorn Gaffigan did a throw-in, and the ball was quickly in game thanks to Brookes Crane. 93 minutes into the match, Brookes Crane notched a goal, 2-5, to the right of Guldsmedshyttan IK's Magne Ahlberg. Magne Ahlberg was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. When the final whistle was heard the away supporters stood up and showed their joy. Guldsmedshyttan IK had managed to secure a win in what was a close match throughout.
