Dagoberto Veiga was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. After a defensive mix-up in SE Tijolo 6 Furos's zone, Boleslaw Zielinski stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Dagoberto Veiga came out of the goal and Boleslaw Zielinski tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. An unexpectedly hard shot by Boleslaw Zielinski in the 18th minute of play forced SE Tijolo 6 Furos's goalkeeper Dagoberto Veiga to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Austin Muller struck a weak shot in the 21st minute. Dagoberto Veiga didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Lyons. When SE Tijolo 6 Furos's Giovanni Custódio in the 27th minute got a chance for a shot 27th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. Luisito Quinten showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Giovanni Custódio, who was totally free with the ball in the 31st minute. 35 minutes into the match, Lyons's Austin Muller sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Dagoberto Veiga narrowly saved just below the crossbar. Luisito Quinten made a fantastic save in the 38th minute, when Giovanni Custódio sent off a good shot on target. Boleslaw Zielinski recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 39th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. After having played for 41 minutes, Giovanni Custódio managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. SE Tijolo 6 Furos's supporters crossed their fingers, but Giovanni Custódio was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. 43 minutes into the match, SE Tijolo 6 Furos's goal looked a bit too open when Boleslaw Zielinski came free, but Dagoberto Veiga reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 45th minute of the match Lyons got a corner. SE Tijolo 6 Furos's goalie ran out to the linesman to protest the call, but the linesman resolutely pointed his flag at the cornerflag. Marcos Berasko ran over to the corner to take the kick. A nice corner shot did that Marcos Berasko got away a dangerous shot. Despite this Dagoberto Veiga quite easily got ahold of the ball to make the save. The SE Tijolo 6 Furos players were disheartened as they walked off the pitch after the first half. Lyons were winning 0-1.

The wind increased when Giovanni Custódio made the kick off in the second half. Boleslaw Zielinski received a nice pass, split the defenders, and ran untouched towards the goal. Dagoberto Veiga came out and tried to block the shot, but Boleslaw Zielinski slotted it home off the left post making it 0-2 in the 51st minute. Dagoberto Veiga took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Boleslaw Zielinski, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. After some fancy dribbling in the 56th minute, Boleslaw Zielinski managed to get in a good position for a shot. Lyons's supporters rose to their feet, but Boleslaw Zielinski was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Dagoberto Veiga breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. SE Tijolo 6 Furos's Dagoberto Veiga proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 56th minute of the match, managed to save SE Tijolo 6 Furos from getting a goal against them. The goalkeeper, Dagoberto Veiga, was totally fooled by Lyons's Severo Basualdo, who 67 minutes into the game made a penalty shot that went in on the goalkeeper's left side. Luisito Quinten breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Luisito Quinten made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Raimundo Bittencourt in the 97th minute of play. When the match was over Lyons could go home with a victory in their luggage, having controlled the game far better than SE Tijolo 6 Furos throughout the match.
