Dionisio Raphael stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Axel Davus's shot from short distance in the 17th minute. PINGO PINGO's Casimiro Claris quite brazenly broke a throw-in by Jacq de Neutere, made in the 21st minute of the game. After some careless play in the PINGO PINGO defense, Axel Davus kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Dionisio Raphael. The PINGO PINGO fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Dionisio Raphael should have stopped the shot. Dionisio Raphael showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Axel Davus in the 37th minute of the match. The corner led to KFC Paal-Tervant's Shaun McLae getting away a dangerous shot that went just outside the goal. A throw-in in the 45th minute of the game was made by Casimiro Claris with Filip Josefsson as target, who quickly passed the ball forward. A collision led to PINGO PINGO getting a freekick after 47 minutes play. Gregorio Tancoš hit a great ball. Even after changing tactics the home team jogged off the field with a 0-1 deficit. They would have to work harder if they wanted to turn things around in the second half.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Filip Josefsson to strike the kick off in the second half. The ball could have gone into the goal to the right of the goalkeeper, but Freddy Tilens showed his good shape when he easily got hold of the ball. When the match had gone on for 85 minutes, Axel Davus took a quick shot and it went in 1-4 without a chance for Dionisio Raphael to make any attempt to save it. In the 94th minute the ball was on its way in behind PINGO PINGO's goalkeeper Dionisio Raphael, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. The audience thought a goal was coming when Axel Davus got free with Dionisio Raphael in the 96th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. The KFC Paal-Tervant supporters could be heard counting down the last seconds of the match. They errupted in celebration when the whistle blew, knowing KFC Paal-Tervant would go home with victory in their luggage after a match that easily could have ended differently.
