Freddy Tilens dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 1-0. In the 15th minute, Axel Davus hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Boleslaw Zielinski might have been able to make a better finish in the 17th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Freddy Tilens. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Boleslaw Zielinski ran back to his position shaking his head. Freddy Tilens showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Boleslaw Zielinski, who was totally free with the ball in the 17th minute. When KFC Paal-Tervant's Axel Davus in the 19th minute got a chance for a shot 19th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. KFC Paal-Tervant's Freddy Tilens proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 22nd minute of the match, managed to save KFC Paal-Tervant from getting a goal against them. 25 minutes into the game, KFC Paal-Tervant's Axel Davus nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Luisito Quinten made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 1-1. Luisito Quinten came out of the goal in the 30th minute to try and stop a shot by KFC Paal-Tervant's Axel Davus. But to his dismay, Axel Davus quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 1-2. Axel Davus blasted a shot towards the goal in the 37th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Luisito Quinten having to make a save. In the 37th minute Axel Davus shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Luisito Quinten saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line.

Freddy Tilens made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Aurelio Vasco in the 56th minute of play. Axel Davus might have been able to make a better finish in the 58th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Luisito Quinten. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Axel Davus ran back to his position shaking his head. 61 minutes into the match, Axel Davus notched a goal, 1-3, to the right of Lyons's Luisito Quinten. Luisito Quinten was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. Lyons made a substitution. Dariusz Roano replaced Boleslaw Zielinski. KFC Paal-Tervant's Freddy Tilens played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Dariusz Roano in the 67th minute of play. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Axel Davus in the 68th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Luisito Quinten saved Lyons from getting behind. If Stig Åkerberg had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 70th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Lyons's Severo Basualdo managed, thanks to a brazen rush, stole the ball on a throw-in made by Jacq de Neutere in the 73 minute of the game. In the 76th minute, Dariusz Roano ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Freddy Tilens was frozen by the shot and now it was 2-3. KFC Paal-Tervant's Axel Davus got a good chance for a goal in the 78th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. In the 80th minute, Austin Muller got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Luisito Quinten showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Axel Davus, who was totally free with the ball in the 82nd minute. After 84 played minutes Lyons got a freekick which was hit by Severo Basualdo. Freddy Tilens showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Dariusz Roano, who was totally free with the ball in the 86th minute. 88 minutes into the match, KFC Paal-Tervant's goal looked a bit too open when Dariusz Roano came free, but Freddy Tilens reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. An unexpectedly hard shot by Dariusz Roano in the 90th minute of play forced KFC Paal-Tervant's goalkeeper Freddy Tilens to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Luisito Quinten stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Axel Davus's shot from short distance in the 95th minute. Dariusz Roano fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 97th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Freddy Tilens having to interfere. When the final whistle went the supporters of KFC Paal-Tervant were delighted that their team had defeated the much more dominant Lyons side.
