Spectators: 7721 (Terracing: 5792, Seating: 1775, VIP seats: 154) Blackblue United's Sixto Seijas started the match with a crisp pass. The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. Aivars Tautvaiss took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Arvid Carlsson, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Albin Nilsson recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 5th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. 6 minutes into the game, Stefan Blomqvist was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Linköpings AIK's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Blackblue United the free kick. The audience was convinced that Arvid Carlsson's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Aivars Tautvaiss was relentless in the 9th minute of the game. Sixto Seijas could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 10th minute of the match, but Jimmy Olsson made a huge save. When Linköpings AIK's Arvid Carlsson in the 11th minute got a chance for a shot 11th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. With a left leg Aivars Tautvaiss saved Blackblue United from getting behind. Aivars Tautvaiss showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Arvid Carlsson in the 24th minute of the match. 25 minutes into the game, Willy Witarya was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. The Blackblue United fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 1-2. Arvid Carlsson received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 38th minute. Aivars Tautvaiss tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. In the 40th minute Arvid Carlsson shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Aivars Tautvaiss saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. After having played for 45 minutes, Julien Staffelbach managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Linköpings AIK's supporters crossed their fingers, but Julien Staffelbach was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Luck had favoured the away team in the first, and they walked off with a 1-2 lead.

After having played for 52 minutes, Arvid Carlsson managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Linköpings AIK's supporters crossed their fingers, but Arvid Carlsson was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. After 56 minutes, Tavo Tomat mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Linköpings AIK and the Blackblue United players grew even worse after the yellow card. In the 56th match minute, Linköpings AIK was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Tavo Tomat to maneuver through the defense. Through an outstanding action, after 59 minutes, Aivars Tautvaiss successfully got his hands on the ball before it slid into the goal at the right post. After a rather tough play, Blackblue United's Daniz Tan got a free kick in the 60th minute. Willy Witarya fired away a difficult shot at goal in the 61st minute. He almost succeeded, but the ball bounced in the crossbar and then went out. It was a very nice shot. An unexpectedly hard shot by Arvid Carlsson in the 63rd minute of play forced Blackblue United's goalkeeper Aivars Tautvaiss to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Blackblue United's Durval Proença quite brazenly broke a throw-in by Tavo Tomat, made in the 64th minute of the game. Aivars Tautvaiss made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Arvid Carlsson in the 69th minute of play. In the 72nd minute Linköpings AIK were awarded a corner. Willy Witarya went to the cornerflag to take it. The corner ended in Willy Witarya almost managing to get the ball behind the net, but Blackblue United's Aivars Tautvaiss did a great save. 77 minutes into the match, Sixto Seijas notched a goal, 2-2, to the right of Linköpings AIK's Jimmy Olsson. Jimmy Olsson was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. Aivars Tautvaiss didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Joakim Mikaelsson went, in the 81st minute, to the upper right corner, 2-3 was the resulting score. Julien Staffelbach fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 86th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Aivars Tautvaiss having to interfere. 89 minutes into the match, Blackblue United's goalkeeper Aivars Tautvaiss had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Julien Staffelbach. In the 91st minute the ball was on its way in behind Linköpings AIK's goalkeeper Jimmy Olsson, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. González Llarena hit a great freekick 91 minutes into the match. Linköpings AIK played a much better game than Blackblue United and deserved their victory. The Blackblue United players were clearly disappointed as they left the ground.
